We stayed at the hotel as a family for three nights. It is comfortably furnished, the rooms are clean and the boss and staff are very friendly. It is perfectly located for excursions. We were at the Hexentanzplatz in Thale and in Wernigerode. There is a very nice selection for breakfast, with something for everyone. In the evening there is a starter soup and the choice between a warm meal or a cold plate. The food is very tasty. The only criticism is the waiting time. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and the starter only seems to be served once half of the guests have arrived. We could still work on that. We were lucky that the hotel opened on October 3rd. October fire made. Hotel guests and non-hotel guests celebrated together and had a great time. The boss and the staff try very hard to offer the guests something. Kudos for that.

Very nice here, you can stop here often to stay overnight. We booked with half board and the portions for dinner could be larger and I wouldn't have a problem paying a few € more.In the morning there is breakfast with a buffet and it is quite rich and balanced so there is something for everyone.There is even free WiFi throughout the house for everyone who stays here.But all in all it's nice and quiet here, friendly staff and we'll definitely go back here.Today there was a barbecue event with huge fire and fireworks and a DJ on October 3rd.Kind regardsSteffen Körner

Cool hotel with a very, very nice campsite behind the house. The team including the landlord is friendly and helpful. We checked in as camping guests and were more than satisfied. We will definitely be back in 2024 and are already looking forward to it. Please don't misunderstand three 👍👍👍 or three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but are really well-intentioned. 🙂🤘

Went to the hotel to eat, so no room review.Taste, quantity and price really good.Only the entrance to the parking lot is a bit unusual. Otherwise we would like to thank you again for your reception and support.

The house and our room were not up to date, but were still clean.The service, the staff and what we were offered in such a smaller hotel was bombastic.We were there over Pentecost and the hotel was far from fully booked.In the evening there was a 2-course menu with very generously filled plates.The breakfast buffet also had everything you could imagine.But the best thing was dealing with our two-year-old daughter, who stayed overnight for free.She also always received a children's portion in the evening and warmed milk and a children's place setting especially for her in the morning.A fully equipped cot has also been provided for you.We can highly recommend this hotel.

I celebrated my birthday here and had a nice leisurely breakfast the next morning. Very friendly service, super delicious cake and a great warm evening buffet. There are only a few restaurants in the area that can keep up with this level. The breakfast was also very balanced and varied. Highly recommended and always happy!!!!!

Very nice and relaxed staff, great breakfast and a nice hotel. Highly recommended for day ticket guests at RockHarz. We felt very comfortable there.There is also a campsite that belongs to the hotel.
