Excellent accommodation in a fantastic location. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the service is great. I can only recommend it. Keep it up!

Very friendly, accommodating landlord of a fantastic holiday apartment

We (two people) had originally booked a hotel room in the Designpension Idyll No.2. There was then an upgrade to the apartment, which was very spacious and modern for the two of us. A large terrace, a bathroom with tub and shower, a small kitchen, a bedroom and a living room left nothing to be desired for our stay in Wernigerode. All windows have shutters and curtains.A view of the castle and the city center rounded off the apartment.It's about a 20-minute walk to the city center and the breakfast that can be booked is about a 10-minute drive away (in the main building, hotel).Wernigerode itself is a good starting point to explore many of the attractions in the Harz.For these reasons, a clear recommendation.

Top stay was great....Super nice operator of the facility and anyone who is looking for the opposite and always Harr Indian soup has no plan....and should go on vacation at home

We were there for a weekend and we really liked the accommodation. Kitchen was fully equipped, it was quiet and the owner is super friendly! Thank you.

More appearance than reality...We had booked at short notice one evening before arrival, on the day of arrival we tried to contact someone using the WA number provided for details about arrival, which was what the landlord said the number was for, but there was no response. We still found it, but that's the first negative point, then I can't offer something like that if people don't respond to it anyway.When we arrived we met an extremely overwhelmed employee who showed us an apartment that we hadn't booked, so we went to the next house where she wanted to offer us another apartment that we hadn't booked and didn't meet our expectations , a little annoyed she then showed us the one we had booked.The apartment itself wasn't bad, but the kitchen in particular was very poorly equipped, no dishwasher, no stove, only 2 hotplates and a grill/microwave, ok for a short vacation, but not ideal for a longer period.It is also questionable whether the beds were freshly made, we didn't feel comfortable in them. The same goes for the towels.The apartment was extremely noisy, there were house after house all around. If you like being watched by your neighbors, this is the right place for you! No curtains on the windows, only in the bedroom, otherwise only shutters, you just have to like it.It's not a bad idea with the apartments, but the main thing here is to make a lot of money quickly and it's definitely not worth it!We had booked with breakfast, when we asked where breakfast would take place we were told that breakfast takes place in the main building, which is about 10 minutes away by car, so you should get this information before booking! We then decided against breakfast, got the money back and opted for the bread roll service, but the rolls were anything but tasty, some 20 cent rolls from some discount store that are sold for a profit.All in all, once and never again, it's definitely not worth the money!

Not a nice place to stay. The building was put up without any thought, quickly and without passion. Here you just want to make a profit. The apartments are noisy and not well equipped. The furnishings seem to be chosen at random, don't fit together and are sometimes unnecessary. Basic towels, toothbrush cups, kitchen towels and dishwashers are missing here.Clean? None (see pictures - I took the pictures immediately after arrival)The inventory is partially damaged.The pillows and blankets have developed an unpleasant odor and smell very musty.The briefing is interesting: the personalized and sensitive reservation documents (name, address, etc.) are hanging on the front door for everyone to see before check-in.I found the first contact funny: the smoked butt was simply thrown into the garden. Otherwise the instructions were very helpful.Charging an additional €8.50 per bag for parking is like a rip-off. Note: You can also park directly on the streets.Value for money is simply bad. This loveless, unclean and noisy accommodation is simply not worth the money.

So the upgrade was really great. The apartment is a hit. The view of the castle is priceless. I can only recommend it. Very nice introduction on the day of arrival. Would do it again. The only shame was the construction site on the hill.

A beautiful and peaceful place, great for relaxation
