Toilet loose. The lid of the covers is broken, the shower head is leaking. There are defects everywhere that need to be eliminated. Basically it needs to be completely renovated. The only reason to stay there for 1 night is the price. It's a shame for what is otherwise a beautiful old house.

So after our first night, I was really hoping for a good breakfast this morning.We are a family of 2 with a 5 year old and a 1 year old. My daughter simply didn't have anything to eat at breakfast. There weren't even small spoons for the eggs or cornflakes, so it was a very poor breakfast.The room? Very old furniture, a baby bed that I don't dare put my daughter in because it doesn't seem stable. All the tiles in the bathroom are broken and in the shower you have to be afraid that the shower head will soon fly around your ears.So far, we have seen someone here once and that was to hand over the keys.The bed linen is dirty, there are woodlice lying around in the room, the balcony? Inaccessible because it is dirty, decayed and cluttered.I can never recommend it to anyone!

Quite okay for the price.Only things that are broken are replaced. It's also sustainable. Were there for the second time, and maybe not the last time. Most of this has already been written in the other reviews. However, I don't think it's the 80s, it's more of a mix of the 50s and 70s. Well, kidney tables are back in style now, so nothing went wrong. However, I was disappointed with the bathroom this time, we had two rooms, and in one bathroom the bottom tiles were all loose and standing on the edge of the shower tray.A small note for the owner: This can have serious consequences for wooden ceilings (mold, rot).The people on the first floor is interesting, has a Russian double-headed eagle.

Don't know where to start here...The first thing you never see in a picture is the shower bathtub. Sorry, I'm not old, but with GB 30% it's already high and life-threatening, especially after showering. I would rather use towels than cleaning rags in my private life.Yes, the pictures speak for an older home but not like that. Not even a table with a chair, which is standard everywhere... when you get here you can only lie in bed.Sorry 2 people 160 euros 2 next never again here you just want to make money!!!! A kitchen table lamp serves as room lighting! TV, well my laptop has a larger diameter.It's still not possible to clear the snow from the stairs when you go in, but when you want to go out again you have to make sure that you don't get a splinter of rust on the railing.To be honest, we have traveled a lot and have stayed better for significantly less.Breakfast doesn't work, especially eggs are in short supply... if you're not quick you'll have to see what's left. You'll look in vain for rolls, normal, simple baked things, multi-grain or something like that. From 8 to 9.30 the time is very limited. If we notice anything else we will add it.

We were there for 1 week in October and were very satisfied. The room with terrace, bathroom, satellite TV and refrigerator was functional and was cleaned daily. We didn't miss anything at breakfast.During this time our car broke down. In this situation, the always friendly owner helped us and even drove us to Braunlage, where we picked up a rental car.We'd love to come back.

The room had stains on the sink and shelves in the bathroom.The shower was a bit dirty.The originally quoted price increased upon departure and since the staff didn't speak good German at the time, we "had" to accept it and pay.Breakfast looked fresh but was kept very simple.

Central location. Very simple rooms, but clean and sufficiently furnished. Mattress was marginal and there are still feather beds. Is this still relevant???? The bathroom is very old, the mold was removed from the joints in a very unprofessional manner... That could be done properly... Breakfast very simple but o.k. Put a bread knife with you in the bread basket...if you set the tables with cutlery, plates and napkins beforehand, it looks much nicer😄 55€ for a single room in Bad Harzburg is so borderline. I wish you a Merry Christmas🍀

A bit old but very clean. The rooms are renovated. The only thing missing from breakfast is fruit, everything else is there. The price is right here.
