For the second time today we visited the Falk & Frei in Selketal right next to the Hotel “Zum Falken”.The food and service were again excellent and the burger 🍔 was super tasty! Thank you and gladly again.

The Restaurant zum Falken offers good cuisine at a fair price.The service is food and the location directly on the Selke is a summer dream.I can't say anything about the rooms and the hotel because we only visited the restaurant. It certainly wasn't the last time we ate here.

I stopped here on my Selketalstieg hike. The room was very cozy and nice. The dinner and breakfast were excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly and the best thing was that my dog was also welcome.A heartfelt recommendation from me.Even though the hotel is currently under renovation, you can already see that it is a very special place!

Nicely furnished bungalow. In my opinion it is only suitable for a few days as there is no cupboard. Quiet location right on the hiking trail.

First of all we arrived and didn't know where to report because there was no reception. Some of the staff were very stressed and unfriendly to the guests. The rooms were new and modernly furnished. The menu was a joke as there were only 3 main courses and 2 dishes for the vegan culture. The breakfast was also very small and clear but otherwise ok. We rented the bowling alley for the evening and it was agreed that we should have a full beer keg at the bar, but after 2 draft beers, we realized that the staff had once again not done their job and the beer keg was empty. Simply ridiculous performance from the staff for a planned birthday. We won't vacation there again.

Very nicely located in the nature reserve directly on the Selke! Clean and nice rooms, very nice hosts and absolutely sufficient breakfast! Great starting point for hikes or bike rides. We'll definitely come back.

If you need peace and relaxation here, this is the right place for you. The room was modern and clean, the staff was nice and friendly. There was everything you could want at the breakfast buffet. Anyone who wanted could also eat dinner but had to register in advance. The boss then came personally and asked. There was a beautiful view of nature from the dining room and the light snowfall ensured idyllic peace. All in all a very nice place that also invites you to go on hikes or take trips to the nearby towns. I have already booked for next year and am already looking forward to seeing you again.

Simply beautiful... the location is idyllic, quiet and yet you can get anywhere quickly by car... the rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean... the staff are friendly and very helpful... there was also snow, what conjured up the place into a fantastic, fairytale winter landscape...thank you very much, we'll be back!!!We've already booked for next year...kind regards from Zinnowitz

Today, Sunday, long weekend, at 12.30 p.m. 3 adults and 1 child, after a long hike to this restaurant, couldn't get a place in the highest half-occupied restaurant. All remaining tables “Reserved”. Were directed to the outside Bockwurst stand. How can you accept so many reservations on a weekend like this where there are so many hikers? Especially since the area doesn't have a lot of inns that you can reach on foot. Anyway, thank you very much. Also for the decisive "friendliness" especially from the child who was looking forward to the stop.
