I have no idea where the good reviews come from. But we only stayed one night instead of four.-There was a smell of old water damage throughout the building-The rooms were significantly too warm in July. It was 26°C outside and in the room itself it was easily another 4-5°C warmer-The windows of the double room with private bathroom showed signs of break-in-The price seems cheap at first, but you have to pay extra for everything (room cleaning, etc.)The “hotel” comprises the ground floor of an asylum accommodation. The people there were very nice, but very loud until late in the evening.-the room was very dirty-The beds were incredibly hard-we left early because of the points mentioned above. We were assured of a refund on site. The email just came (after two weeks) that we weren't getting our money back.When we arrived, a friendly lady welcomed us with a monologue about how we didn't have to be afraid despite the asylum seekers' accommodation, because there was security at night and the police were directly opposite.

Accused of theft.My wife and I stayed at Second Home for two nights in March. About 2 weeks after our stay, we received a letter accusing us of stealing a lamp and asking us to transfer €40.Shocked by this letter, we immediately tried in vain to contact the operators to clarify this matter. The managing directors can be reached by phone or by email. To date (June) we have not received any response from the operators.Regardless of the stay, we can only give 1 star for this bottomless impudence.Of course the €40 wasn't paid because we didn't steal any lamps.We would like to clarify this matter with the operators, but apparently this was an attempt to get a few more euros out of us.

The rooms are modern and clean, unfortunately very noisy. The mattresses are hard, but that's okay for me. We had a room with our own shower, but unfortunately the fan couldn't get the moisture out of the bathroom in the preset time. A lot of water went into the bathroom when I showered, the slope of the tiles is probably too small, a shower curtain would help. Our room was directly opposite the reception and entrance, so it was very loud because of the people checking in and out right in front of the room door. The front door always closed very loudly when someone went in or out. This means that from around 6 a.m. you can no longer think about sleeping.The parking lot costs €5 per day, but we skipped it and always found a parking space in the adjacent streets.

The hotel is very modern, cleanly furnished and offers everything you need. Nevertheless, I noticed the musty smell as soon as I entered the hotel and it spread into the room on the ground floor. It was worst in the bathroom; after the bathroom door was closed for 5 minutes, the room had to be completely ventilated. I suspect a problem with the drainage of the toilet and/or shower. The beds are quite small and rock hard, making it not exactly comfortable to sleep.The parking lot is positive because it offers a lot of space for a small fee.My conclusion: it is completely sufficient for a short stay but not relaxing for a longer period of time.

Well located accommodation for everyone. Price performance is completely acceptable for this equipment. You can book a breakfast plate, which is completely sufficient. I think the drawback is the parking fee! There is enough space to park here, but a fee applies.Otherwise there is nothing to complain about.

I was a guest there last week with my boyfriend for a family celebration. We booked by phone at short notice and it worked perfectly. The accommodation is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I can only recommend this if you are looking for something centrally and quietly located.

Our fitters were guests there for 2 weeks. The rooms are very clean, the location is quiet and the parking is easy to access (even late at night) using the gate opener.We have found suitable accommodation for the next construction projects in the Merseburg area.
