Perfect overnight accommodation right on the Elbe cycle path!Even the call asking about a room was very pleasant because we immediately felt welcome. Shortly after the conversation, we already had all the check-in relevant information on our cell phone, even with a video to find out where the bike shed was. The room was very nice and newly furnished, had a great view of the Elbe and was absolutely quiet. Several restaurants are within walking distance and for a glass of wine, a sundowner or coffee cake, the café on the ground floor is available with outdoor seating and beach chairs.The breakfast is rich (no buffet), but we asked several times whether everything was OK. Two rolls are provided per person, if you only eat one, bread bags are provided and you can take your leftovers with you as travel provisions - great service and nothing has to be destroyed. The staff is very friendly. We would come back at any time!

Very nicely located guesthouse. The owners explained the check-in very well to us. The room is functionally furnished. Breakfast is sufficient for cyclists.

Stayed in a single room with a view of the Elbe. Very nice room, sparkling bathroom. Excellent. Friendly contact with the landlady via WhatsApp, even with directions to the bike shed via video. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for bikers.

Stopped here on our boat trip. Everything great. Rooms very clean and nicely furnished, good mattresses, new bathroom. The breakfast was also delicious and the service was super nice. The location on the Elbe is fantastic.

We really liked the guesthouse.The lovingly furnished rooms are cozy and clean, the reception was very friendly. The breakfast is nice and everything tasted wonderful. Particularly noteworthy is the central location of the guesthouse, which enabled us to easily explore the city's surroundings on foot. Overall, a wonderful accommodation for a relaxing stay.

5 out of 5 stars for this lovely guesthouse.As a family with 4 children, we booked the large holiday apartment for one night and were totally thrilled.The view of the Elbe was simply a dream.Lovingly furnished and super clean.The breakfast was super tasty and there was a good selection.We would love to come back with our children.

I love this location, on the one hand because of the great location and the great view of the Elbe and on the other hand I always like to stop by because you can always find nice people at the tables if one becomes available. It's actually always well attended. Great service inside and out and the landlord ALWAYS has sunshine on his face. I just love being there

Were in the associated cafe with a beautiful view of the Elbe. Very nice service, always with a good word to say. Coffee and cake were delicious and value for money too. What more do you want?!

The rooms are obviously recently renovated and very clean. We had a perfect view of the Elbe! The service and breakfast are perfect! However, the bicycle garage could be a little tidier... ;-)!

Four of us stayed in the golden anchor for an overnight stay. We would come back at any time. Rooms are great and breakfast is excellent, it leaves nothing to be desired. Great staff and very nice owner.
