That was a really nice guesthouse 👍almost a small hotel, great breakfast, great boss Ms. Schulze 🤗

Yes, this guesthouse has more rustic GDR charm and is worn out. But in my opinion it was as negative as some people here rated it. not.I was accommodated in room 2. Clean bedding. Clean towels. (Yes, the colors didn't match and it wasn't my own taste, but it was clean and everything smelled freshly washed and I didn't find the towels hard either - definitely air-dried, which I think is completely ok.) Room and bathroom clean. The room was also surprisingly cool, even though it was unfortunately 33 degrees outside.WiFi worked perfectly. (I streamed a film.) There is also a small (older) flat screen with the standard channels. (I didn't use it.)Price according to the notice: 40 € single room, 75 € double room including breakfast. To be honest, I (solo traveler) have never paid such a low price for a single room with a bathroom, let alone seen it. Especially not including breakfast. (This price has more of a hostel character these days.) In many small/older "hotels" and guesthouses you usually pay at least €65 (mostly without breakfast) and I've had real survival experiences with hygiene, size and inventory . This was definitely not the case here. I also found the mattress to be good - not saggy. Oh and since I've read it several times: The toilet paper was completely normal - probably 3-plyBreakfast selection m.m.n. very good and plentiful. From sausage and cheese to cakes, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs. There was nothing to complain about. And yes, I also caught a hard roll that had obviously been baked several times. I ate it and it was good. Coffee and juice were also ok.Negative points:- The loudly ticking analog clock in the middle of the bed. (Perhaps you should just “unplug” it.)- It is very noisy (unfortunately, you can hear everything from the hallway/yard, TV, shower and the neighbor's visit to the toilet live.)For cash payment: This was pointed out when booking. There was also a sign in the entrance area. And I think that's completely legitimate, before there are any nasty surprises when checking out. Already experienced everything.My conclusion:You can stay here (if you don't have any utopian ideas about accommodation and don't expect ultra-modern hotel chain standards). The nearby Wörlitzer Park is beautiful and well worth seeing. I would also have found €60 including breakfast to be reasonable for an overnight stay. Just compare with other current prices.I therefore give it 5 stars because of the price-performance ratio.

A guesthouse that you can really recommend. Rooms clean and tidy. The bathroom is a bit small but sufficient for normal adults. Breakfast is delicious, very plentifulAnd versatile,Rolls were still warm.Short distances to the park,All in all, great accommodation, would love to come backJürgen and Manuela
