Nice reception.If you like hard mattresses, this is the right place for you.The location is a bit out of the way, which has a favorable effect on the price. But you can walk to the city in about 20 minutes.

Despite all the complaining. There are really people who always get upset about everything and then demand a discount. We were very happy with the hotel. It's close to the center. The swimming pool is perfect and was also open until 9 p.m. We stayed there for one night and we really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately we were very dissatisfied. We checked in late and stayed one night. We were traveling with a small dog. We were accommodated in the right wing of the hotel. Our room had 80s furnishings with a broken clock radio. The bathroom was also from the 80s. There was no WiFi reception there, like in the main building. From 6 a.m. onwards, the heating beeped due to a lack of ventilation. The shower mixer tap wasn't working properly, resulting in bursts of hot and cold water. There was a huge stain on the carpet. We paid a whopping 167 euros for the room, including 15 euros for our 30 cm tall dog and 2 euros for the hotel's own parking space in a small forest. The breakfast offering was manageable, cold cuts mostly from the pack, baked rolls. Cappuccino should be charged extra. The supposed cappuccino only contained a little more milk, but it wasn't a cappuccino with milk foam at all. As an owner who is used to portafilter machines, the taste of this was hardly bearable. When asked about these points and asked for a discount, the boss just said that the room was so expensive because of the wellness area, which we couldn't use because we arrived at 8 p.m. and left at 10 a.m. and didn't do it have. But that wasn't an argument because we weren't believed. So zero accommodation here. Rip off! Service is different. We are frequent travelers and know our way around very well. Not recommended!

We were very disappointed with the service in the evening! Some of it was already finished at 7 p.m. when we came back from the city tour. Swimming pool and whirlpool would actually be open until 9 p.m.! We couldn't use it anymore! The service in the morning was top! Cleanliness was ok and the view from the roof was beautiful! Unfortunately the WiFi didn't work every 3 days!

Reception and staff friendly. Hotel seems to be getting old. Rooms very small and stuffy. The carpet was also quite stained.Breakfast buffet is at best OK. The time in the beautiful wellness area for the sauna was too short for us. The massages were great but the floating was an absolute failure. It was just a warm bathtub with music and a lid. The floating effect didn't happen at all, so I went out after 10 minutes. The employee then replied that the salt had to sit on the surface for the time being until the floating effect occurs. I think there was a dosage error or a defect. No price concessions and no apology or anything like that. We are absolute fans of the Harz but we won't be staying here again.Conclusion: absolutely okay to stay overnight on a business trip, absolutely not suitable for a couple's vacation. Price-performance ratio: Poor.

Outside ugh, inside hoo. Very friendly welcome, clean and nice rooms. Unique view from the room into the inner courtyard with the lovingly landscaped wellness garden. Breakfast great! All in all a recommendation

Quietly located, parking costs 2 euros per night, indoor pool great and clean, rich breakfast, nice staff, smoking area in the3rd floor with great views. Rooms of 16 square meters are completely sufficient.

I really liked it there. The wellness area was simple and unpretentious - I was able to relax there during my business trip. Although there is no kitchen in the evening, the employee was very nice and made me a snack - along with a freshly tapped beer. The breakfast was plentiful and good. The hotel is certainly no longer the most modern - but it's still a very good place to stop off. I'll be back.

I was in this hotel with my group of girls in November. We received a wonderful massage there, which is why the four of us booked again in March.We booked the rooms by phone four weeks before our arrival date.At the same time we wanted to book a massage for four people.The employee on the phone advised us to book it a few days before arrival. We called them three times and wanted to book the massages because we were afraid. We don't get any more appointments.We were brushed off every time, and three days before arrival we were told by a young man at reception that the employee who gave the massages was permanently ill.Because of this, we no longer had any options to cancel the hotel. We were very angry and pissed off about this situation.When we arrived at the hotel on Friday afternoon, we immediately expressed our displeasure and spoke to an employee.She referred us to the boss, Ms. Fischer…. which could only be spoken in the afternoon.Ms. Fischer had an impossible, arrogant and very snippy demeanor.We once again expressed our displeasure at not having been informed that the employee had been ill for a long time and that no treatments could therefore be offered.She said we had already been told on the phone that this would be the case. The employee we spoke to before looked at the computer when we first spoke to her and told us herself that it wasn't noted that we had been made aware of it.We were accused of lying and treated in an impossible way by Ms. Fischer.When we wanted to use the wellness area on Saturday afternoon, we were informed that the wellness area would not be available again until 4:00 p.m. The sauna was cold, the whirlpool was off and nothing could be used.Thank God we were lucky that another employee was so accommodating and made the sauna available to us.We don't even want to talk about the rooms, the furnishings, the cleanliness and the breakfast buffet.The weekend was very disappointing and we definitely know that we will never set foot in this hotel again.The price-performance ratio is not the same in any case.

After we had a very nice stay there in November 2023 in a women's group (with a great massage), we decided on this hotel again. We booked directly with the hotel by phone and mentioned that our stay was so nice, especially the massage. Unfortunately, we were not informed that no applications could be offered at the moment. We were told that we should call again a week before arrival to book an appointment for our desired massages. After several calls we were told that no massages were offered. When checking in we spoke to the "boss" Ms. Fischer, who treated us completely unfriendly and unprofessionally. We're at a loss for words. Absolutely wrong cast!!! The double room was unfortunately very old-fashioned and not very appealing, especially the bathroom with mold stains in the shower. The breakfast could be improved, at 9 a.m. there was just one boiled egg on the buffet, unfortunately after half an hour only 3 eggs were added. This continued throughout the entire buffet. For a wellness hotel, the wellness area, i.e. the sauna, can only be used to a very limited extent. All in all, the stay was far too expensive at 150 euros per room! We are very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back!

The weekend was not relaxing.The suite we had booked was used and we were given two youth hostel-style rooms. Carpeted floor with stains.Bathroom: smelly drain, broken tiles, mold in/on the shower cubicle.Booked massage, didn't take place, masseur wasn't there shortly before the appointment.Wellness area inadequate, water temperature cold. Sauna not in operation at announced times.Infrared cabin not active.Restaurant not operating as advertised.Manager of the hotel very arrogant.Toilet in the hallway area has not been cleaned for days (hygiene plan is hanging behind the door)Overall impression: unsatisfactory

Unsightly carpet in the rooms and stained. Unfortunately, the bathroom smells bad.Due to a spontaneous renovation, we suddenly got different rooms, although it was already clear in January according to the reception because the dog was no longer allowed in there.The massage that was booked was informed on the day that it was not taking place. One woman said she was given early notice. Instead of informing ourselves early so we can look for something else.Ask for 30 euros to change bed linen instead of mentioning it beforehand.Complain about the size of the room and the fact that the dog makes dirt.Breakfast is normal.Sauna is forgotten to turn on.Hot tub is cold.And that as a birthday present. Pure disappointment for so much money.Thank you - never again.
