Hotel overnight stay in a double room with breakfast over 100 euros is not appropriate. Rooms old-fashioned but clean. Breakfast without variety and without warm dishes (scrambled eggs, sausages, etc.).

The manor is located just outside of Bad Kössen. You have a very nice view of the Saale valley. The service is quick and friendly. We visit the manorAgain and again. Planning a class reunion at the manor next year.

Nice hotel and nice restaurant. What leaves something to be desired is the willingness to respond to customer requests when eating. It is impossible, because of stress, to get a Black Forest cup with three scoops of chocolate ice cream instead of one chocolate and two vanilla. 🙄 The staff seems overwhelmed and is only moderately friendly.

The ambience of the outside area is fantastic! The service was very accommodating and friendly. The food is good value for money and extremely tasty 😋. Only the hotel rooms are a bit old, but still clean.We've been eating there at short intervals because the cuisine is so good! Recommended!

The hotel and inn is located on a hill. You can enjoy the wonderful sunset in the evening.Unfortunately not a single WiFi worked. On the login page you were even asked to log in as an administration user and take over the router. Of course it worked the same way. If you don't have enough control over your systems, you should at least turn them off. This is more than embarrassing for the otherwise well thought out property.Luckily you have really great cell phone reception and can balance everything yourself. Of course that's not what the inventor intended, but you can help yourself however you can.

We went to this wonderfully located former manor for a short vacation in September 23rd.The surroundings of this small hotel and restaurant are fantastic to look at, quiet and thoroughly enjoyable.We lived in a small holiday apartment away from the main house at the end of this small complex, the small living room and the bedroom are separate. There is a small kitchenette and a small functional bathroom. There is also a small breakfast terrace with a view of the hotel and a second small terrace behind the building with a view of the forest.We like it that way because it gives us peace and quiet and, as a cigar smoker, I don't bother other guests. We sat there every evening undisturbed and without disturbing others after our long trip and enjoyed the evening with a wine from the region.We can't comment on breakfast as we were self-catering in the holiday apartmentWe ate one evening in the hotel's restaurant, with a wonderful view of the castles in front. The waitresses were very, very polite and tried very hard to make us guests feel comfortable at all times.The hosts of the house at the reception and with all other problems and questions were always friendly and available to help us with lots of help and advice - including about the region.Thank you for the great stay. We'll definitely come back.

We stopped spontaneously after the bike tour with 9 adults and 4 children and it was an absolutely lovely visit.Food was soooo delicious and it came very quickly.We'll definitely be back.

Great scenic location!Apartment 1 is beautiful with a fantastic view of the castles!!You have to accept restrictions on opening times- information on the internet beforehand!Very good food!!A little more friendliness, but only sometimes - and everything is perfect!
