This hotel far exceeded our expectations of a city center hotel! It is a historic building that is very elegantly furnished and also takes history into account. It is very quiet at night as Leipziger Straße, where this hotel is located, is the pedestrian zone of Halle. Several historic restaurants in the center of the city can be reached in less than 10 minutes and the proximity of the main train station makes this hotel very attractive for train passengers.Since I generally only eat cheese for breakfast, I can of course only judge that, but that is extremely positive. There were several types of cheese and all were extremely tasty. The service in the breakfast area also deserves praise.It is a hotel that I can recommend with a clear conscience.

Had a great suite! Price-performance ratio is right here! Plus great location. The double rooms are always a reasonable size and the beds are comfortable!The house is a bit old, but you get spacious rooms for your money! There's also a lot happening here, there seems to be a breath of fresh air in management and I'm excited to see how it develops! The spa area was always nice, but is currently under renovation.Very friendly employees. We'd love to come back :)Update 10/2024:After 10 months we checked in again. The team at Dormero Halle is super nice, the sauna could be used until 10 p.m.!We were greeted personally and even received a great upgrade to our room.The renovation has finally started and we are excited to see what the new management does with the Red Ross, the building has so much potential!!!As always… we’ll be happy to come back 🫶

Disaster! Old and dusty, absolutely dirty! To make and burn!!This hotel should be closed, anyone who gives positive reviews here has a blast! It feels like millions of mites in the bed, absolute dirt on the carpets in the hallway and on the stairs, old furniture... I don't want to experience breakfast at all... all of this for over €120!!! A bad joke!! Excited to see what the parking ticket will cost. Just bad.

The hotel is getting old, unfortunately the rooms had a very musty smell and the air conditioning doesn't work. You couldn't hang the shower head in the shower, you had to hold it in your hand when showering, no shower curtain. Unfortunately I have to say the duvet under the cover was very dirty, a nogo.The elevator door resembles a train station toilet. Dirty sticky, a shame because it's a brass-colored door that just needs a good polishing. It would then be a very nice eye-catcher. Rooms are only cleaned upon request.But we had a very friendly reception.Be careful when reversing in the parking garage, poorly built. The distance signal doesn't come through because of the stem and so we dented the rear window. We're not the only ones this has happened to. Apart from a caution sign, there is nothing saying why caution.

Great location in the city of Halle.The beds were clean. The rest was apparently ok. Everything is a bit old. The hotel is significantly cheaper if you book it externally. Reception staff was very friendly.

I had to cancel my room due to a cancelled train. The handling of the cancellation was dismissable by the hotel. They charged the full amount although I gave them a timely call and email. I would have accepted a cancellation fee but there was no willingness or help at all.

The hotel is getting old, but the very nice and courteous staff more than made up for it. On the day of arrival there was a misunderstanding with the pre-ordered food, which caused some dissatisfaction among some people in our travel group. The boss then stood in front of all of us the next day and sincerely apologized. Not everyone does that and deserves respect and recognition.The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful.Since the hotel is in need of some renovation, I only give it four stars. As we have heard, the renovation will probably take place from 2025, after which there should be no more criticism and five stars would then be appropriate.

The first impression is nice, but upon closer inspection the paint is not only scratched in many places, but is peeling off over large areas. The furniture is full of scratches, the armchairs have broken upholstery and are worn out, carpets are worn out and full of holes in the k&k. When it's 40C in the room and there's no air conditioning, you're not allowed to open the windows because screws are missing and they're almost falling apart. Broken buttons on the elevator were “repaired” with tape. Inside the hotel, loose collections of cables hang from the ceiling and sheets of plywood replace doors. Last but not least, you meet the local fixers or find their cutlery in the smelly parking garage through which you get from the kk to the hotel. All in all, too expensive for the standard that is currently offered and no longer has the stars stated. It certainly deserved its reputation at one point, but those days are over. Not again.

I would particularly like to highlight the practical quick check-out system, which makes the departure process incredibly efficient and stress-free. You can check out easily and simply without long waiting times - ideal for business travelers or anyone who is in a hurry. The hotel's own free minibar is also an absolute plus. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, ideal for ending the day with a drink. The choice of drinks is varied and the service in the bar was just as top notch as the rest of the hotel. Overall, an absolutely recommended place to stay!

The hotel impressed me in every respect, especially in terms of service and the minibar. The parking spaces are easily accessible and there are enough of them, so you don't have to search for a parking space. The service was excellent. The staff was always friendly, helpful and professional, making you feel completely comfortable as a guest. Another highlight is the minibar in the room, which is available free of charge upon arrival. All in all, a great hotel that I would happily recommend!

The Dormero Hotel Halle really made my stay an unforgettable experience. The location of the hotel is ideal - central, but still quiet, so you can easily explore the city of Halle. The rooms are very clean and offer all the comfort you could wish for. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive staff, who always tried to fulfill all wishes and make the stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast buffet was rich and of high quality, so there was something for every taste. Overall, an excellent hotel that I can recommend to anyone traveling to Halle!
