We were at the Kurparkhotel Bad Lauchstädt from September 20th to September 21st, 2024 for a Ver.di union conference/retreat.The location is very good and central. The very limited parking space available directly at the hotel due to historical structural conditions has been solved creatively but well with another parking option for many more cars in the immediate vicinity - even a 2 to 3 minute walk. The rooms are fine so far, but the previously high-quality but unfortunately worn-out carpeting needs to be renewed. The sanitary areas are new, clean and tidy. The service is very good and the food is very, very tasty.Big praise to the service staff.Thank you!!!

As a wedding couple, we have booked various rooms for ourselves and our guests.Unfortunately the price-performance ratio was underground. The furniture, the carpets and everything else in the hotel was beyond worn out. When you checked in, if you could call it that, you had to pay the bill immediately. The room walls had cracks, the bathtub was missing fittings and the handicapped-accessible room didn't deserve its name.Cleaned rooms, were still dirty.Unfortunately, you realize that in this beautiful, sleepy little town there is no other option than to book the flophouse.Luckily never again.

The Kurpark Hotel is possibly the best house on the site, but that doesn't mean anything. Rooms and buildings are ok -- 3* level; The mattresses are worn out and urgently need to be replaced. …

We booked as a "wedding party". We were lucky ourselves, since we arrived a day earlier, our room was ready - except for the unwrapped candy wrappers from the previous guest on the dessert, it was pretty decent overall. The wallpaper is peeling off in one place or another, but we're not that picky about it.Unfortunately that wasn't the case the following day. The hotelier knew exactly that the wedding started at 2 p.m. and that the guests still wanted to get ready. Our children were there beforehand and discussed this personally with the manager. We agreed to move in from 12:30 p.m. So my sister and her husband moved into a room that had not yet been cleaned by the previous guest. The beds hadn't been made new and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned yet. The same thing happened to my parents too. My other daughter's single room was simply forgotten during cleaning the day before. She was given the keys to this littered room. This shouldn't happen...But the worst of all came that night. I might have skipped the review because we had a great wedding reception (thank God NOT in the hotel). A couple left the party briefly to get something from their hotel room. They found a trail of ants all over the room wall (I just saw the video, I have no words). Not 10, not 20 - hundreds! There were ants in the bed too. They had no choice but to call the manager at night (he hadn't been there for a long time). When she asked where they could sleep now, he replied, "I can't do anything about that," and "the hotel is fully booked." After the money was demanded back and the couple wanted to leave, an offer for an alternative option came reluctantly. Now the young couple definitely didn't want to sleep there anymore - understandably so and so they left at night. Luckily the woman hadn't drunk anything. They didn't live nearby either and still had to drive over 100 km. Incomprehensible!!!! The next morning not a word of inquiry or apology.I just found out that there were ant baits set up in the room. So the staff at the hotel knew.

Unfortunately, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired: The hotel seems to be very old and in urgent need of an overhaul. The carpets tell stories from at least 20 years ago, the television seems to be just as old (see photo), the bathrooms were an imposition (including dirty toilet, no shower curtain, shampoo packaged and counted), the breakfast was unfortunately very manageable, the coffee was undrinkable and the beds weren't made, only new towels were put in the room. The overall price-performance ratio was unfortunately (very) poor.

We stayed there overnight at our daughter's wedding. We booked 10 double rooms, which were not in good conditionThe carpet, no longer inviting to walk barefoot, made me uncomfortable. Dust on the lamps...ectr.😒The breakfast was disappointing. We waited 15 minutes for rolls, 30 minutes for a boiled egg and it was still so runny and inedible. Cheese plate you had to look for the cheese, the plate was always empty... I saw 2 small slices of sausage on it and it wasn't refilled in half an hour. If you ask, you'll get vague answers. For us it was a unique visit to these hotels. The staff, including the man at the reception, didn't even have a smile. WEAK for the hotel, very disappointed for the amount of money..

Unfortunately, the hotel is not a flagship for such a historic “health resort”! The rooms, the furniture, the carpets are all shabby, dirty, stained... In the hotel hallway there is a gallery of broken chairs and other things. The breakfast room is not inviting. Dead flies on the window sills, stained seating... The breakfast offering was very reduced, apart from expired food. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is not right here either.

The pictures on the website have nothing to do with the hotel!!!) but show the spa park. Our room was an imposition. Unclean, beds in which comfortable sleeping was impossible. The bathroom...a disaster! Shower moldy and the sliding door almost unusable.Breakfast, oh well. The cheese wasn't fresh etc.As an apology there was €20 in cash and a bottle of wine. But this didn't save the weekend!

Nice hotel in a central location. However, it is in need of some overhaul. But the service is unbeatable. It's rare to find such kind and friendly staff

At the end of August we were able to celebrate our wedding reception at the Kurpark Hotel and we remember it fondly! All of our ideas were implemented without any problems and even spontaneous requests were immediately adjusted. The champagne reception, coffee table and evening buffet were immaculate. Our guests are still enthusiastic about the buffet and I would also like to say a very special greeting to the chef. Our guests never had empty glasses and the next morning I only saw satisfied faces at the sumptuous breakfast. This is exactly how you want to remember your wedding! Many thanks to the entire team! We'd love to come back! With all guests 😄
