The hotel is very centrally located in the city center, in a historical environment and close to the Hundertwasserhaus and the Elbe.Rooms, as always at Motel One, small and functional.Parking is possible in an underground car park (15 euros).

Great central location. Still very quiet. Rooms simply and simply furnished. Renting a parking space is not necessary. You can park in front of the hotel for €3.00 for 24 hours. Breakfast relatively expensive for what was offered (€16.90 per person). No scrambled eggs or bacon or warm savory foods available. Service ok, but no question as to whether everything was ok or anything like that. You had to bring your own water bottle to your room. Beds very comfortable, bathroom small but sufficient.

Very nice hotel. Modern rooms, nice staff, delicious breakfast, great location (city center). There was no parking space left in our own parking garage, but for a daily rate of €3 you can park quite well in front of the door. Conclusion: highly recommended 👍

The rooms are typical Motel One and the staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. No matter whether at the reception or at breakfast. The location is in the middle of the city and everything is easy to reach.

A very nice hotel, in the heart of Magdeburg. Located directly on Cathedral Square. An ideal starting point to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and offer plenty of space. Very clean and tidy. The breakfast is great. You should definitely book it. The service leaves nothing to be desired.Have fun in Magdeburg

When the wrong collaborator can ruin the experience!!The hotel is nice and they were helpful at check in. Eventually I come across a listless, rude and rude employee (a lady with dyed orange hair). It doesn't take much to ruin a previously positive experience. I won't go back there again

We have stayed at Motel One several times, including in other cities. There is nothing wrong with the service and the breakfast is reasonable for the price.The mattresses were too soft for our taste, but I'm sure everyone has different preferences.It would be great if the ventilation system could also cool.The Motel One in Magdeburg is in a great location, right by the cathedral and on the banks of the Elbe.Various sights can be easily reached on foot.We can definitely recommend the hotel.

A really nice, easily accessible, centrally located hotel.We came on foot from the main station.Payment is made directly at check-in for those who have not yet paid. Anyone who has booked and paid via Booking should remember to have the invoice printed out at the hotel.Breakfast relatively expensive, but organic and plentiful.Can be rebooked at any time. I recommend booking on the day of arrival, then it will be quicker in the morning.The lounge is a breakfast room in the morning and a bar in the evening. Small snacks such as chips, nuts or sandwich toast can be ordered at the bar in the evening.The rooms are relatively small but well furnished. No telephone and no mini bar. Drinks can be bought at the bar or in the nearby supermarket. Air conditioning works. The closet is an open shelf (depending on the room) but is absolutely sufficient. I booked 3 nights.Bathroom also very small, shower very spacious. Soap and shower dispensers are always refilled.Room cleaning can be canceled.The bed and pillows were the best so far.No backs. - or neck pain.Despite the fact that the hotel is very centrally located, it is very quiet. The staff very friendly and accommodating. At the second breakfast we already knew our room numbers.Luggage storage is also not a problem.The train connection to the trade fair is very good. Out of the hotel, go straight to the train stop (5 minutes) at Alter Markt and take the next train to the trade fair. Total duration 20 minutes. If you travel a lot by train, I recommend the Magdeburg Ticket.Overall, I found the hotel very nice, the service pleasant and the location excellent.I can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience.

The breakfast cannot be beaten in terms of simplicity. You can also buy sausage and semi-hard cheese in packaging in the supermarket. No salads, nothing home-made, no scrambled eggs, warm food, fish or anything similar.The simplest hotel breakfast I've had in ages! But take 16.50 for it.It's best to look for a bakery or café nearby.The breakfast room with deep armchairs and coffee tables and quite dark is also impractical.Room quite small, but ok. You should forego room service and have to actively request it, today's bad habit!Garage too small, you have to park somewhere in town.The location is of course great.

Beware of the receptionist, a lady with red hair and a nose piercing. This employee cannot discuss things, immediately feels insulted, likes to threaten her house rules and throw innocent guests out of the hotel. Oh yes, and with the blue and white officers, this employee also likes to threaten the guests of an otherwise respectable hotel chain.

Points are deducted for the parking situation🙄. We were there for one night, otherwise we would stay overnight in the Green Citadel (We finally wanted to see the Hypar Shell from the inside - including Banksy😍 and take advantage of the Open Monument Day - for the Hermann-Beims Settlement😍 - museum apartment and tour 👍 😍[ Thanks to Wobau employees and the gentleman who kindly stepped in.]So back to the hotel. Fully stylish, quiet - old building: view of the cathedral, state parliament, monastery. Friendly staff.Breakfast - clear. Rolls were a bit hard, no matter which one.Would I book the hotel again? If parking and breakfast are important to you - probably not.

I’d definitely consider staying here again on future visits!

There was no closet in our room, which we didn't need.The breakfast, which you can book additionally (16€/person), is sufficient and you get everything you need.Price performance is completely fine for us
