The most horrible and dirty hotel I have ever seen in my life. There was hair and spiders everywhere. The hotel smelled terrible. We left the room on the second night and went home because we couldn't take it anymore. The hotel wasn't worth the price. Please do not book. The hotel doesn't deserve a star.

Stay away from this hotel including its partner hotel in WillichI was one of the 5 guests who were simply rebooked to the partner hotel in Willich on September 28th, 2024. The hotel employee in the Palazzo didn't give a damn whether we reached the actual purpose of our trip (Gladbach against Union Berlin) on time. I have never stayed in a worse hotel than this flophouse in Willich. Therefore my recommendation: stay away from these hotels.

Huge catastrophe and an imposition! There is sometimes a risk to life due to defective electrical systems, exposed cables, missing escape plans or fire extinguishers used as doorstops. According to the plaque, the elevator was last tested in 2008!!!No trace of hygiene anywhere. Dirty carpets, wedged cupboard doors weighing a hundred pounds that, in the worst case scenario, can jump off the rails and kill someone.Sticky tables and bedside tables, stained curtains and wallpaper. From the ceiling, a thick spider grins at you from its web that has been painstakingly woven over the days. The room doors, which have been broken open several times, don't necessarily give a safe impression.Since we arrived a little earlier, the rooms were not yet cleaned when we arrived. However, they were kind enough to allow us to put the suitcases in the rooms. In our case, we entered a room that resembled a garbage dump. Leftover food on the bed and bedside table, "sanitary wipes" on the floor and smelly garbage everywhere. The alternative room was "just" messy and smelled of smoke, but it was in the same, unfittable condition on our second attempt 7 hours later. That required a third room. At least at first glance, the room was tidy. The duvets and pillows were so stained that we decided not to use them.During breakfast you should definitely not look closely at the displays or even at the floor. In our case there was at least one canister of disinfectant on the floor next to the coffee machine, which was connected to an open connector. This tried by flashing the message “Please clean the water filter!” to attract attention. It's been proven that it's been unsuccessful for a long time.In conclusion, we wish this “hotel” many more visits! From the public order office, trade office, an expert for hygiene, electrical systems, fire protection and from TÜV.

So sorry, that doesn't work at all. The room is so dirty and run down. Breakfast doesn't work at all, no plates, cups, etc. No forks for sausage and cheese. I've been to many hotels but this one has surpassed everything. Luckily only one night. Reception staff very polite. This hotel will never be used again. We will also report it to the health department
