I can't rate the rooms, we were there with our caravan, very nice operators. We liked it a lot. We'll be back. You can put up a fence. This is important to me 👍

Everything was as it should be. We had a lovely time here and would love to come back! And the tunnel is a real adventure at first!

The Hetzingen campsite inspires us every time, not only because of the beautiful surroundings, but also because of the numerous hiking opportunities 🚶‍♀️, which we especially enjoy in spring and autumn. A special highlight is that the campsite partly runs directly along the Rur. Here you can take wonderful walks, both with the dog 🐕 and without - just great! The tranquil atmosphere along the river really invites you to relax and explore 🧘‍♂️.The pitches are spacious, with their own water connection 💧, and the well-kept green areas and excellent WiFi reception 📶 ensure additional comfort. The friendly and helpful staff 😊 makes the stay particularly pleasant.The place is perfect for dog owners 🐾: dogs are very welcome and are even greeted with a small welcome treat 🦴. The many walking paths along the Rur offer ideal opportunities to explore nature with your dog 🏞️.A charming detail of the site is the Rurtalbahn 🚂, which runs comfortably through the campsite and contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. It gives the place a unique, almost nostalgic charm 🌅.The youth room on the pitch has potential, but still needs some attention 🎱. Although there is a pool table and a dartboard 🎯 available, the room looks more like a basement room. We missed comfortable seating options that would make the space more inviting. There is also a large ice chest stored there, which is a bit disturbing and spoils the impression of a purely youth room. With a few adjustments, this space could become a great meeting place for teenagers 👦👧.However, there are many fun options for children: the free Kettcars 🚲, bicycles 🚴‍♀️ and scooters 🛴 at the playground are a particular highlight. Unfortunately, some of the play equipment 🛝 could use a little overhaul as some of it was broken during our last visit. The big chess board ♟️ near the restaurant and playground was a nice meeting place where we spent a lot of time and had fun.The restaurant 🍽️ impresses with delicious food at fair prices 💶, but the outdoor terrace could be made a little more comfortable. Small details such as tablecloths or a flower 🌸 as a table decoration would create a more inviting atmosphere here.The social events 🎤 such as karaoke evenings or the Oktoberfest 🍻 are particularly nice, where you can quickly get into conversation with other campers. This makes the stay even more entertaining and pleasant.Overall, the Hetzingen campsite is a wonderful place for nature lovers 🌳, dog owners 🐕 and those looking for relaxation 🧘‍♂️. Despite small suggestions for improvement, such as the youth room and playground, we always like to come back - especially because of the great walking paths along the Rur and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere ✨.

We had a nice holiday at the campsite. Nice place, and good service because there was a water tap, waste water drainage and electricity directly behind the caravan.Information provided by the campsite staff was good and interesting.Well worth it to book a few days there again for next time.

A beautiful piece of earth

We were at the campsite with our colleagues. We were welcomed very nicely. The accommodations were very nice and we felt very comfortable. There was super delicious cake in the cafe, the sanitary facilities were super clean and modern.
