The hostel is just 5 minutes walk from a nearby railway station (Aachen Schanz). I couldn't find any nearby supermarket but one can find easily in 10-12 minutes walk. The next bus stop is not even one minute away. The check-in was smooth, one of the staff's members was friendly. A guy would keep coming and checking the room for no reason I don't know why. The room has one cupboard where you can store your luggage and bring your own lock. Unfortunately, they don't have charging plugs on the upper bed. The cleanliness of the toilet and bathroom was good. The railway track is just behind the hostel so you would hear the train noise during the night. The Wi-Fi was free but i could access the speed in the kitchen, don't expect good Internet in the room. You will be provided only the pincode to open the main door and they don't have keys or cards for the room's door which was a little surprising. I feel it is not worth the amount i spent.

A lovely independent hostel run by friendly people who are always ready to help. Great kitchen. Very relaxed. Lots of character. The hostel is right next to a railway arch with trains hurtling pat every so often. I found this very atmospheric, especially when sitting in the garden on a summer's evening. So much more authentic than the corporate type of hostel with its "cool" branding and chip cards!! I really recommend this place.

I stayed there for 2 nights with a friend and can only recommend it. We were there during the Formula 1 Grand Prix, so we were just looking for a cheap option. The price is just great and you have everything you could possibly need. We didn't spend much time in the hostel because we were on the race track for a long time, checking in late wasn't a problem, the location is super pleasant with the bus and train station in less than a minute. You can't complain about the toilets and showers, the room is also great for the price, just like the owner is almost always around the corner and was also very helpful. If I'm spontaneously out and about in Aachen again, I'll definitely stop by again, I can only recommend it to you.

To everyone: don't go to this hostel.You would think that if you only want to sleep there for two nights, not much could go wrong.... Wrong!For the first night we were supposed to sleep in a women's room. First impression: The floor is dirty, there are hardly any sockets and no curtain in front of the window. We left our things in the room to see the city. When we returned, another person was suddenly in one of our beds and 3/4 of the beds were occupied. Then the two of us were moved to another room, which was a bit bigger, but the floor was just disgusting. By the way, the locker too. We couldn't lock the rooms, even at night. On the second night we wanted to return to the beds we had already used (!), but our things were no longer in the room and someone else was in bed. Nobody was there to tell us where our suitcases were. After a bit of searching, we came up with the idea of looking in the women's room from which we were actually moved. Luckily our things were there. The next morning we left as quickly as possible.We really didn't expect much for the price, but a stable place to sleep and that our things wouldn't be moved without our presence would be the minimum. Never again.

First of all, they doesn’t speak good English, just German. They showed us the stay, he did it to us in German, which is why we didn’t understand anything. We went out for a moment to do the shopping and they locked the room with all our things inside. They didn't provide us with any keys either and there were no lockers when it said there were lockers at the time of booking.One of the hotel employees slept with me and my friend in our room, which was very strange.We went out to party on Friday and when Saturday morning arrived, keeping as much silence as possible so as not to wake anyone up. At 9 in the morning this man's alarm started ringing and he started telling us to wake up because it was no longer time to sleep.I booked 2 nights and 3 days, and that same day he came to my room to tell me that we should leave or pay for another night.You feel watched all the time, there are only strange people there and men

IT:The hotel is in this hostel for the night and the experience is not good.Los trabajadores de allí se dirigieron hacia a mí de forma maleducada, no hablabamos alemán (y se lo dijimos), y continuaban dirigiendose a nosotras en alemán, el mantenimiento de las installations no es bueno, las ventanas de nuestra habitación no se podian cerrar y Pasa un tren justo lado de la ventana, the nevera que hay en la cocina no enfriaba bien y olía mal, the hostel huele a "cerrado", y no es muy agradable, NO HAY LOCKERS para dejar las pertenencias or objetos de valor! ni a minimo de vicilancia, NO NOS DIERON LLAVE DE LA HABITACIÓN porque "siempre están abiertas", (salimos a momento del hostel por la noche y cuando regresamos a la habitación la habian cerrado con llave y no pudimos entran hasta media hora mas tarde) .Una decepción, no lo recomiendo.CLOSELY:I have been staying in this hostel for two nights and the experience has not been good at all.The workers there addressed me in a rude manner, we did not speak German (and we told them so), and they continued addressing us in German, the maintenance of the facilities is not good, the windows in our room could not be closed and A train passes right next to the window, the refrigerator in the kitchen did not cool well and smelled bad, the hostel smells "closed", and it is not very pleasant, THERE ARE NO LOCKERS to leave belongings or valuables! Everyone working there was the sweetest in the world, they made us feel like it was our own home, especially Ms. Sibel, she even made and brought soup when we were sick <3 <3 I can't thank you enough for everything.

I came to Aachen to study at RWTH. However, since I couldn't find a house, I stayed in this beautiful hostel for a while. Ms. Sibel (Sibel Abla) helped me like a mother in difficult moments and when I felt sick. I would especially like to thank her.

Very basic, rundown hostel. Should be around €15 for the quality you get.You don't get a key. There's a combination to enter the front door, which doesn't work. The owner himself had to ring to get back inside. The rooms can't be locked. Everyone can walk in. There are no lockers to store your bag in the room. It's stuffy. The only option is put the windows wide open, which caused a massive draft and lots of noise at night. The building is next to the railway and the ring road. There are only a few plugs, so don't expect to charge your phone at night if you're on the upper bunks. Rooms were dirty. It looks like quite a few students stayed there. Quite some dirt and laptops laying around. Lack of respect with flashing lights at night. Shower was clean. Kitchen & common area: you can cook, but it could use thorough cleaning. It looks like a bad student place. The WiFi is non existing. Only one or 2 can use it at the same time. Super poor. The common area itself also only has 2 places where you can sit and charge something. One of them has a plug crammed just behind a sofa. Poor setup. Mattresses & pillows were hard as well. Only book here if you really want to save money or need something for 1 night. Proper WiFi, locks on doors, proper bed and lockers are hostel essentials. No sleep, no fun. Disappointed

I liked everything. Friendly hosts! Kitchen like home, plenty of dishes, refrigerator, cook whatever you want, whenever you want. A bit noisy from the trains. Shared toilets 3 pcs. souls too, 2 pcs. Everything is washed every morning. Quadruple rooms. The hostel was not overcrowded; I lived alone in the room. Pleasant anarchy. 1.5 km in any direction. Nearby net.
