The hostel is well equipped. Rooms are OKShowers, kitchen, bathrooms are top super clean.The owner very nice. We were just unlucky that there was a kiosk in front of the house that was probably having a party, but everything was quiet after midnight. We can only recommend it. There is a motorhome and a VW bus and CocaCola in the parking lot in the yard, which of course make the narrow parking lot even tighter.

We had a great stay. The room was large, clean and quiet. And when we locked ourselves out, Karsten immediately came to the rescue in the middle of the night. 10/10, would come again.

If you are looking for an uncomplicated and well-equipped place to stay, you are on the right track with this hostel in terms of price/performance ratio. Of course privacy is limited, but after all you are visiting and as a guest you have to adapt. Separate shower cubicles and toilets that are regularly hygienically cleaned, something warm to prepare in the communal kitchen, whether ready meals in the microwave or instant food in the kettle. Requesting new bed linen or bath towels via the app or by phone if you miss the staff is also no problem. Overall, more than you would expect from a standard hostel.

I spent almost 2 weeks here last year because I wrote my exam in Hamm.First the positive:+ Location directly opposite the OLG Hamm; There are several bus stops nearby from which you can quickly go to the shooting club (a place for exams) or to the main station; There are also supermarkets, bakeries and a park where you can walk nearby+ There was a desk in my room, which was very good for me because I could still prepare for the exams+ the owner and the lady who cleaned up there were both friendly to me and I was even allowed to check out a little later without any problemsNow the negative:- I didn't sleep on my first night there because I was still preparing for my exam and then at 2 a.m. I saw someone slowly push down my door handle and then slowly raise it again, trying to get into my room reach! I was in room number 10, which was at the end of the corridor, i.e. there was a wall to the left and to the right was the men's toilet, then the women's toilet, then a storage room and only after that other normal rooms, which I rule out someone made a mistake with the room number- When I was there, there was a foreign group of men (4-5 men) who were very loud, e.g. they were talking loudly in the hallways with a speakerphone or playing music on their cell phones or just talking loudly and all that evening/night- There is no reception there, the owner is there for a few hours during the day and afterwards you have no contact person and therefore no feeling that someone is there to ensure order and security- I went into the kitchen after midnight to put down my dishes and then saw a half-naked woman barefoot in front of the alcohol machine who turned around, smiled at me and said "heeeey" (kind of disturbing and at the time I thought to myself, Where am I here? By the way, that was the first woman I saw there after a week)- In my room, which was right next to the men's toilet, I could always hear everything when someone went to the toilet

I've stayed in many hostels, but Geronimo is one of my absolute favorites! It's clean, I like the design, and the host tries incredibly hard to keep his guests happy.All in all, I can recommend this hostel to anyone looking for nice accommodation at a fair price!Everything is within walking distance! A repurposed office floor, the old office furniture was simply left in place, there is virtually no atmosphere, a small refrigerator is practical, you first have to find rooms, showers and toilets (but they are clean!) because the staff wasn't there after 5 p.m. It's okay for one night, there's no wardrobe, so far it's okay, clean, the light is neon tubes... But the location is nice if you don't want to sleep right next to the train station and want to go for a walk in the countryside. The bed was good.

Very nice, friendly and clean place, near or the center of Hamm. They have big rooms, super clean kitchen and bathrooms. Bus stop nearby. Easy to get to anywhere in the city (Hindu temple, Zoo, Train station, Center). Administrators is friendly and can help, if you have special requests. I like this place so much!

It was very dirty! The rooms weren't even really clean and neither were the beds. sometimes I thought to myself this isn't a hotel.
