Nice hotel. Rooms are nice, big bathtub. Unfortunately it was very humid on the first floor. Even the fan in the room didn't help. Of course the hotel can't do anything about the weather.

The hotel is perfectly fine. It is more or less in the "industrial area". That's why the situation is rather so-so. The center is easy to reach on foot.The rooms are clean and big enough.Price/performance is also ok.

Unfortunately, you have to wait in front of the closed door until 2 p.m. before you can get into the room. Stupid if you go there at 3 p.m

Unfortunately, we lost the key during our stay... in the middle of the night. Luckily we remembered that there is an emergency number at reception. We dialed this 8 times between 3:15 and 8:20 without anyone answering. When the hotel manager asked how that could be, the only answer was that you have to watch your key and that there is no emergency number. However, what the number is supposed to mean was not explained. So there was no apology or other kind words. There seems to be no thought of service on the part of the hotel manager. It was simply explained which minimum accessibility must be adhered to by any association. But even that wasn't true according to my research. In the end it doesn't matter, as it seems that the only thing that matters is that the guest pays and otherwise has peace of mind... never the hotel for us again.

Very short stay, only 10 hours, arriving at night was completely unproblematic thanks to access to the key box. Room great. Bed super comfortable!!! Again and again.

- Arrival possible at any time (if a time has been given in advance) as there is a key safe in front of the door- Rooms very clean & cozy- Breakfast was delicious, staff incredibly attentive and friendly- Key return is easy at the reception in a “chest”

The room itself is ok, the only thing I find terrible here are the two individual mattresses that are not together in a duvet cover, so you constantly slide into the ditch and the mattress is pushed apart.With the exception of a spider and an earwig in the room, it's quite clean, but the bathroom fittings don't work properly, the sink drips and the shower holder wobbles so much that I'm always afraid it's coming towards me.The location is terrible. The only good thing is that there is a reasonably good bus connection to Mechernich train station. However, if the train arrives late and the last bus is gone, you're at a loss because the taxis don't even run anymoreThere are no restaurants around the hotel. If you want to go out for dinner in the evening and don't want to walk 3 km, you have to make do with a snack bar.The reception is not staffed permanently but only on an hourly basis. The people behind it can't help you very well with questions.The breakfast is simply ridiculous for this price (€11.90). There are a few rolls that don't really taste fresh and some toppings. A small selection of muesli and yogurt. What's great is that fresh scrambled eggs can be prepared upon request, which are also very tasty. The staff in the breakfast room is also very nice. But for such a high price per day! I think that's absolutely not enough.Overall, I really can't recommend the hotel.

Stayed overnight with 6 people for a weekend motorcycle outing, received a good breakfast. You have to go into the village for dinner, but the receptionist provided excellent help with a list of restaurants in the area.

2 weeks ago I wanted to book 3 rooms at Komm'in for my family who were traveling to a funeral. I drove there spontaneously in the morning and then found myself in front of a locked door (you can understand that the reception in a hotel is not manned 24 hours a day...). There was a sign on the front door with a phone number to call. After ringing 20 times, an unfriendly female voice (I assume the owner...) finally answered. “Come back this afternoon” was blared to me. When I asked to take the booking over the phone, I was told in a cheeky tone "I generally don't do that..."I was perplexed and speechless how to deal with customers/potential guests...And this is already the second unpleasant experience we had in the comm'in. Relatives had already stayed there last year. In the morning at breakfast you were escorted out of the breakfast room with the words: "Well, you have to stop now, after all we still have to clean here..."Service and service looks different...but maybe that's Eifel hospitality?!? Underground...Definitely not recommended...!!!!Thomas Harms

Slept here last night, hotel is good, large clean family room and a large clean bathroom.Good breakfast and a very friendly lady who provided breakfast.
