Please try to dust the rooms, unfortunately there is always a lot of dust in the air in every B&B hotel, which puts a lot of strain on your nose. I don't have this problem in other hotels.

Hotel is very conveniently located 15min to Cologne City Center, lots of parking options included in the price. Room was spacious, clean with comfortable bed, modern bathroom with nice shower. Heating and A/C can be regulated and adjusted from within the room, which is convenient. Reception staff is friendly and communicative. Overall great experience!

The two of us spent two nights in the B&B and were overall satisfied. However, we got to the hotel very late every evening and left early the next day without breakfast. The online check-in was therefore very practical for us and we had no contact with the reception. The room was clean and practically furnished. TV worked without any problems, as did the WiFi. The parking situation in front of the hotel is a bit difficult. But there are alternative options on the street or in the neighboring Globus Markt parking lot.However, it was a bit noisy due to the proximity to the motorway. But bearable.

I'm surprisedVery clean, good room, practical for a two night stay. Perfect for short breaks in the commercial area. Globus nearby.First time in the BB because of the Blackfoot Lake experience in Cologne. Very quiet despite the motorway with the windows closed. Air conditioning available.Breakfast very positive, with cappuccino ☕...machine...rich and a large selection...some four star hotels can take a leaf out of that...I was really very positively surprised. 4 out of 5 stars because the price/performance is really good. The rooms are large enough for an overnight stay and are always clean. If you keep the windows closed, you won't hear anything from the A4 motorway. Overall, the hotel is pleasantly quiet. There are tables and chairs in front of the hotel and you can also smoke here. The staff at reception is always friendly and helpful. Parking is free, which is also good, and there are charging stations for electric cars. Why deduct a star? 1. the online booking didn't work... I had paid and then got the message from B&B shortly before I went to the hotel that I still had to pay. The receptionist was able to solve it. I also provided a billing address online, but that didn't come across either. 2. What surprised me negatively were the two B&B people in the hallway in the morning. I know that the employees greet you when you pass within a few centimeters of each other. It may be that my greeting as I left the room was a bit quiet. The two just looked at me without saying anything...strange behavior.

We spent 4 days in the hotel, primarily as an overnight stay. 20 minutes drive to Cologne City and Phantasialand. The hotel is located in a kind of industrial area and on the highway, but it is quite quiet. Some shops are within walking distance. The room is small but functional. It was clean and just a little dusty in the corners. The cobwebs and spiders in front of the room window were negative and on the day of departure there were woodlice in the breakfast room. The breakfast was well coordinated, generally nothing special but a good pick-me-up for the day. What was positive was that the hotel drew attention to the waste of resources.

The hotel is located in a business or industrial area, so there is little infrastructure within walking distance. It takes about 20-30 minutes to drive into the city of Cologne by car. Using public transport takes more than twice as long. There are sufficient parking spaces on site. The rooms are small but sufficient. The bed is firm but suitable for sleeping. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired, I found hair in the shower and on the sink when I started my trip. During the stay it became clear that the cleaning basically has room for improvement. I didn't book breakfast.

I've been a guest there for many years... unfortunately some things have changed.The B&B Köln West was once a really great hotel with not large but very well-kept rooms and a very friendly staff. Absolutely recommended for the price.Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel in particular has deteriorated significantly. The staff is still friendly and helpful, even if, apart from the reception, communication in German is hardly possible. But there are truly worse things, as long as friendliness and proper work prevail.The overnight price can no longer be described as really cheap, but it is ok.However, the condition of the hallways and rooms is now not ok. The carpets now look quite dingy, the rooms have been cleaned (you can see that), but they don't really seem clean anymore. I would say that this is mainly not due to the staff, but rather because they only invest in the bare minimum. But that is not enough to maintain the condition of a hotel. This one is currently using up its substance...I hope that this will change soon, otherwise what was once a really good and cheap hotel will turn into a dump. That would be a great shame.

I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all the employees I met.Despite the high number of people at the breakfast buffet, everything was always replenished immediately - great!Only the online check-in didn't work properly. The people at the reception were extremely friendly.

Simple hotel. Very good welcome. Parking a little small but free. Soundproofing of the impeccable windows against the door opening onto the corridor, zero (you can hear all the passages...) Location not ideal for Cologne.

Since we have stayed in B&B hotels several times, we are disappointed.The room left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness, one of the receptionists wasvery taciturn and almost rude to other hotel visitors, she should take an example from the young, friendly work colleague who was there in the morning.When we wanted to go back to the hotel in the evening, the taxi driver couldn't find it because there was no lighting,

We found this place in the middle of the night, checked in at midnight. Good impressions, room was about €85, clean, spacious. Check in was quick and efficient. Staff speaking English. Security codes on room doors, so safe!2 minutes from the motorway, yea, altogether good option. Used to sleep in the car, but not anymore!
