Super small, narrow rooms, withoutWindow, shower in the room, air only via air conditioning (we had 16.5 degrees to sleep 😴) centrally located, staff from very friendly to outrageously cheeky! No possibility to meet or sit down anywhere!

Volunteer party Had a summer park party here, nice location, everything was provided, cozy courtyard, 3 rooms, there was something to do everywhere. Great place, I hadn't been there yet after the renovation and it turned out really beautiful. The bar is nicely decorated and has plenty of room to enjoy yourself.

What a nasty experience this was. Wanted to surprise my 10 year old daughter and had booked for her birthday on August 27, so that we could go to an amusement park in Germany the next day rested by public transport.- Soap bottle/shampoo bottle were empty upon arrival in the room. Got a new one at reception... but did not receive a replacement shampoo.- remote control was missing. Went back down to reception. Apparently they forgot to give it. Upon arriving at the room, we discovered that the batteries were missing. Went back down again... then got batteries. But this one didn't work. It was already very late. And left it at that.- water in the shower did not drain.Just after 10 p.m. the power went out in the room. There was no longer any staff member present. Sent an email... 2 days later no response. We slept in a sweltering room with no light. Couldn't charge my phone. Because of this I was unable to take pictures of my daughter during our visit to the amusement park. Strange people have to ask if I could look up the route on their phone. Paid 80.25 for the room..... but this was far from worth it for a room without electricity etc!!!!!!!!I also asked when making the reservation if they could put a card/paper with congratulations in the room for my daughter as a surprise. Had no response. My daughter's first experience with a hotel was an absolute nightmare.

Last June we spent part of our wedding at the Ald Weishes; dinner and party. Sef is the man in charge and we often met or had contact with him in advance regarding all the preparations. They are incredibly flexible and often thought along with us. Everything was possible and we were always welcome at the Ald Weishhoes to discuss and/or prepare. The day itself: the reception was great, the food was bizarrely delicious and the service was a solid 10. We never lacked for anything and had the day of our lives, partly because of Sef and his excellent, cheerful and helpful team. After the party we were able to climb the stairs to sleep in a cozy room in the Ald Weishes. The day after they provided a delicious breakfast in the chapel. The Ald Weishhoes is definitely recommended for parties, but also if you fancy some very tasty food! Sef and team: thank you again very much for your efforts. Our day was fantastic thanks to you! Overall my stay was fine and the room was also satisfactory. However, I find it extremely annoying that the hot water was turned off at 12 o'clock at night without me being informed beforehand.

I had a really delicious meal and drinks here. Wonderful stay in the center of Venlo in a beautiful location.The food was delicious, I had spareribs myself, which is definitely recommended!My girlfriend had tuna steak here and it was also tasty.I was a bit skeptical about the price list at first because it is quite pricey. But the food was worth the price.I did not spend an overnight stay here and so I cannot give a review.Very easy to reach by bicycle and by car you would have to park it a little further in an underground parking garage.

Great location in the town. Rooms are tiny, with a double bed, sink and shower in the room. Comfortable bed, good value for money for what we paid. There is a shared toilet in corridor outside the rooms. …

If you have a party, you should not hire other guests for hotel. Not possible, we bounce out of bed. Worst place ever.

The hotel is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone, you can reach everything on foot. The reception was very friendly, check in without any problems. The room is shockingly small. Not for little people, you have to climb into bed as it is very high, we were there two nights and every evening there was a party in the restaurant with loud music until late into the night. Toilet in the hallway But clean. Wouldn't book it again, too expensive for a youth hostel.

Truly a gem in the center of Venlo, fully restored and now flourishing for everyone who wants to visit. Really worth a stay. And oh, yes, the smoker spare ribs were great too!

Very small room with no windows and no second escape route. The room did not correspond in any way to the pictures in the catalog. The shower is in the room and at night it started to stink from the siphon. There was no chair or storage space in the room. Toilets are shared toilets. But during the day the lights are turned off so that if you close the door you have to do your business in the dark.Very loud and noisy.The friendly welcome, the adjacent bar and the direct connection to the center were positive.
