Just ripping off...!I reserved a room and canceled it by phone in a timely manner and was assured that my booking had been cancelled. 3 days before the actual booking, the room amount was debited from my account. When I asked, I was told I had never canceled and was stuck with the costs...

An outstanding new hotel! From the modern design to the comfortable bed and the first class service, everything was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The price was reasonable even in the center of the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for central and affordable accommodation!In addition, there are four subway lines in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, which makes exploring the city particularly convenient.😍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice rooms, everything was very well maintained and clean. Became aware of the hotel by chance and were really pleasantly surprised. The city center is close by and the lady at the reception was very nice and open. Would definitely book here again on my next visit!

Single room, only superficially clean, shower doesn't drain, dirty drain, only 1 towel!No air conditioning!Booked for 3 nights long term, totally overpriced at just under €260 without breakfast.

The hotel is really good actually but the room temperature was really hot. Also it is 20 minutes away from Cologne city center by foot. I can recommend this hotel to other people.

Really Unhappy.Extremely Hot.Not Secure.Booked a room for 2 nights 3 days.On 2nd day, I entered the room 5pm and all my belongings was gone and room was cleaned. Where they completely ignored the "do not clean sign on handle".They did not contact me in anyway to let me know we are entering or moving your stuff etc.After the massive panic and receptionist acting stupid, I found my stuff packed away in carrier bags. "See image".Would like the manager to contact me.

Disappointing experienceI had high expectations for this hotel after looking at the photos on Booking, but my experience was very disappointing. The room I got was nothing like the room I booked. The room was small, without air conditioning, and it was very hot. The windows were open, which resulted in a room full of flies because there was no window screen. There were at least 15 dead flies on the walls, which gave a dirty look.Although the bathroom looked clean at first glance, the towel was very dirty with a stain that looked like feces. The floor felt sticky and there was hair everywhere. This made me feel very unsanitary.The door lock didn't work, which made me feel unsafe while sleeping. In addition, the bed creaked with every little movement and the bed was only 140 cm wide, which definitely does not meet the standard for a double bed as shown in the photos.All in all my stay here was very disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel to others.Stay July 28-29, 2024Room 205

Update: I'm still waiting for the manager's reply for a resolution.Cockroaches and other insects. Avoid this place and just pay 20 euro's extra for a decent hotel, to save yourself from stress and get some goodnight sleep.I was supposed to stay at Villa Sophia for 3 nights, but my experience was a nightmare. There were cockroaches above my pillow (!!!), managed to get one pictured as they are FAST. You'll understand that you won't get any sleep with those running around your face. To make matters worse, I was bitten by something while I was sleeping, which led to a painful reaction on my leg (pictures).I approached the staff, requesting a cancellation for my last night with restitution. Booking.com also proposed the same, but the hotel declined. Instead, they said they would "push" the issue to the hotel manager and suggested that I email info address, claiming the manager reads the "info" emails. This definitely felt like a brush-off rather than a solution.All in all, I would definitely not recommend staying here. Staff and reception very nice. Room, however, not that great.. Below the bed, table full of dust, shower drain dirty, feel towel and floor towel for bathroom, no breakfast and Seffin really unfriendly. When I checked out I waited almost 30 minutes, that's when I drove out in the car she was Still loud - hello, he has to get out of there - Well... I'm driving but they were standing in front of the gate😡. Really rude. Good location near stadt.dom etc., nice balcony but not so good from the other side. There's better too.

Even the one star is difficult for me, especially because the house handled a nighttime fire alarm inappropriately. It was not possible to sleep at night because the alarm went off repeatedly. As we heard, this had happened before during the day. Only a small fraction of the accommodation costs were reimbursed. In addition, the underground car park entrance on the hotel premises was initially blocked, so our departure was delayed. All in all: poor treatment of customers (who had to pay immediately upon arrival). During the nightly alarm, many confused guests from all over the world gathered in the foyer. Nobody informed them, the reception was unmanned.

Beyond basic, great if you're willing to sleep in any bed with a roof.Check-in is cash only even if you booked with an online booking platform like booking.com. They will cancel whatever booking you made to not pay that platform their fee and then ask you to pay in cash so they get 100% of the earnings.Rooms are basic and most have windows that open to the main very busy road, and none of the rooms have air- con. Currently 24°C as I write this and the room is unbearable, good luck sleeping in it very very stuffy.

It was scam!!!! and I can't cancel order, we arrived to totally in different situation and room. there was no air conditioner, smallest room, the room was 100% oppossite from what they have on site. And receptionist said that they only upload good room photos.he said that it is our problem that we believed that photo they uploaded was real and cancelation is 450€ he refused. It was scam. We traveled 300 km just to stay in a normal room and they gave us how to say it was kn the roof. it was small and ceiling was curved. It is literally scam!!!! its 20:00 of evening, we traveled from amsterdam and it was catastrophic what they did. We tried to negotiate and still that receptionist scammer says that we should pay. They tried to charge my card 4 days ago. Beside fact that there said that they are not charging. Even reviews are there that they are silently charging. They knew that we will be there and that room will not be available and we couldn't bring money back. Its a scam !!!!! I cant write review on booking !!!!

We booked this hotel for one night.. about 15/20 minutes walk from the station and the cathedral. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. It is possible to book a parking space in their garage at a cost of €18 but when you leave the room you also have to leave the parking lot so we opted to park the car in a street parallel to the hotel where for €5 you can leave it for the whole day... in the room you have the possibility to make yourself a tea or a coffee as you have everything you need. In general it is a good hotel and we had a good time if I were to return to Cologne I would opt to return here.
