Pretty bad. The second biggest criticisms: 1. The TV in my room didn't work for three days. When I asked the reception several times, I was repeatedly promised that it would be taken care of, but that never happened. 2. As some others also wrote, the rooms smell of cigarette smoke. In fact, in my case it wasn't because there had been a lot of smoking in my room in the past, but rather because other guests were actively smoking in their rooms. The smell came in stages and preferably after other guests came into their rooms in the evening. The smell probably spreads from the rooms where people smoke to other rooms via the ventilation or something similar. Other guests also had the same suspicion. There's probably not much you can do as a hotel, but for me as a guest it's still very, very unpleasant.

Small but nice! The rooms are completely sufficient for a city trip. You're out and about all day and only go to the hotel to sleep. Breakfast was also ok, but I think €10 would be enough for this offer. The staff is friendly and always there if you have a problem. You try to solve problems immediately without making you wait for a long time.

Hotel with a perfect location right at the exit of the train station.Breakfast buffet is ok and offers a reasonable selection.Negative: When we stayed 4 nights, the room was not cleaned (bed, bathroom, etc.). Soap dispenser at the sink was empty, the courtyard was dingy in my eyes with ashtrays that were emptied at best once a day, sometimes long waiting times at the reception because (apparently) there is only 1 employee in the entire hotel. For one night... OK, there are alternatives for more

Definitely a good hotel for one night. I found the bed to be above average comfortable and was able to sleep well, unfortunately the entire hotel seems pretty run down and some areas could definitely be improved.

We arrived at this hotel and finally received the room key - everything was fine until then. But when we entered the room, we immediately noticed a strong smell of grass. After many hours of driving, we decided to rest first. But when we went to the toilet, the problems began. This didn't appear to have been cleaned - there were traces of... in the toilet, traces on the sink (see photo).I then went to the hotel reception to report the condition of the bathroom and asked that they either clean the bathroom or provide us with a room in the same category with clean toilets. The receptionist didn't seem to believe me and started a discussion asking me to take photos to prove my point. I refused and instead invited him to see for himself on site. When he entered the bathroom, his first reaction was that from what I had described, he expected the situation to be much worse, almost as if a fire had broken out in the bathroom. He then tried to make us believe that the marks were due to the age of the building and plumbing, but this was not the case. He also informed us that the cleaning staff had already finished work. When I asked if this condition was normal for him, he simply replied that we hadn't booked a luxurious hotel. When my wife asked whether this condition was acceptable for a hotel room, he suddenly changed the subject and talked about his sales. He never stopped asking us why we wanted to damage his sales just because we asked for either a cleaned shower or a different room - all in an aggressive, condescending and contemptuous tone.My wife reminded him that his sales weren't our problem and asked him the same question again. He then said he would no longer speak to my wife, but only to me. When my wife made it clear to him that this answer was inappropriate, he tried to excuse himself by saying that he had already started the conversation with me and that we would understand each other better. This kind of sexism may be tolerated in other parts of the world, but in Germany it is completely unacceptable.Given his reaction, I requested to speak to the manager. He then explained to us that they had no obligations to us and suggested canceling our reservation - presumably to protect their revenue. The other option we were offered was to take a higher category room, for which we had to pay extra! This was after we had previously been assured that all rooms in our category were fully booked. Finally they offered us another room in the same category, which also had the same smell of grass. Imagine this discussion lasted over an hour.In addition, the cleaning lady knocked on our door at 9 a.m. to ask when we would vacate the room, to which we replied: at 12 p.m. Before noon, the same lady came back twice to ask us the same question again, which finally interrupted our sleep. It was the first time we had such a negative experience in a hotel. We will never set foot there again and zero stars would even be too much given the lack of respect we received as customers.
