I left my gold chain in my room, when I left I called the hotel to retrieve it. They said they would have a look for me and call me back. 1 hour later still no call back, so i called them again but they didnt pick up multiple times. I waited for the next day and they finally picked up, when i kindly asked if they found my chain they just hung up instantly. I wasnt rude or anything. Very weird experience and lost an expensive chain.

Lots of light but also lots of shadows, that's how I would rate it. I visited the hotel because of an all-day event organized by my employer. The support during the event was great, there's nothing to complain about here. The staff was nice and very attentive. The hotel has an interesting interior. However, a window in my room could no longer be closed or opened either. Of the six ceiling spotlights, three were broken and the air conditioning didn't work in my room. I would have liked to have stated my findings when checking out, but the usual question: Was everything to your satisfaction? Unfortunately, that didn't happen and when I wanted to start, the next guest had already been addressed.

This is our first time in this hotel. We are vacationing here because it is our 10th wedding anniversary.And we love the hotel.Our first room was on the second floor, but we changed because there was a problem. Our final room is on the 3rd floor.Both rooms are very large, well furnished and really nice.The beds are wonderfully comfortable.The bathroom is also very large with a huge shower with a rainforest shower head and a normal one.The rooms are both very clean.We really love it and will come back when we are in the area again.

Clean hotel/room..The staff and reception were very friendly..The Duisburg main station is just a few minutes' walk away.Shopping arcade can also be reached in a few minutes on foot.

Booking was simply canceled at short notice 2 days before departure. Reason: Technical problems. You might then start by reducing the number of guests who had reserved for a long time and would pay even cheaper prices per night...

In Duisburg for a business trip. Upon arrival the receptionist we found was very kind, at check out the receptionist we found was quite unpleasant. We asked her to print a receipt and she said that she already sent that by email and couldnt print it. We found out that the receipt she sent had a wrong amount.Breakfast top quality, but I did not appreciate the waitress taking the plates away from the table seconds after they were empty.Room 202 where I slept was very hot, no AC but it was equipped with a fan so it was ok. Only problem the room looks directly on a busy street where there is people passing with car and loud music during the night.I am sorry but I wouldn’t come back

What was agreed upon and requested three times was: a disabled room, wheelchair accessible, raised toilet seat, walk-in bathroom, barrier-free, close to the elevator, ... Ultimately, when we arrived at reception, I had to fight for a "disabled room" at length. And this was far away from the elevator (farthest possible distance), no sign of a raised toilet seat. Room just big enough to reach everything with a wheelchair. The cupboard and window could not be operated from the wheelchair. The window was also damaged in several places and completely dirty. Photos of the unknown evening fireworks display are accordingly "smeared". At the last appointment, the staff was unaware of any road closures from midday (Targo Bank Run with over 7,000 runners and more than 10,000 visitors), and no prior information about restaurant closures on the day of the event.Nevertheless or but:Super-nice lady responsible for the rooms. Despite everything, we spent two lovely days.Location of the hotel: brilliant, “in the middle”, city center and inner harbor “right in front of the door”, parking available.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel!On arrival the room was anything but tidy. We found 2 empty alcohol bottles from previous guests in the room (without even having to look for them), plus there was mold in the bathroom, a window with broken glass, an unemptied trash can in the bathroom, apparently defective air conditioning, dusty curtains and dirty glasses on the table. The room generally seemed pretty run down, standards like a coffee machine or kettle can be forgotten. The room itself is also very brightI can't say much about the service, as it was never available, let alone found in person at the reception in the evening. When we asked the staff when we left that they had originally advertised a 24-hour reception, we were skillfully ignored.Added to this are the incredibly rude cleaning staff who often suddenly appeared in the room in the morning despite the signs on the door. Despite repeated, always polite (!) requests to please leave the room, the response was cynical and angry. On the day of our departure, they were already in the room at half past nine. After we turned them away, they knocked on the door every 20 minutes and often came in without being asked until check out. Absolutely no one seemed to care that I was clearly not feeling well that morning. At the reception we were then told off that we were checking out a little too late, even though we had explained the situation and apologized for the inconvenience. There are three-star hotels that have a lot more to offer, at a much better price-performance ratio. Never again!!
