I stayed at the MB Midtown Hotel for one night on business. I've been there several times, very rarely, but regularly. I like the hotel and the rooms, a bit noisy but nicely furnished and good breakfast.Unfortunately, the service this time was a disaster: the receptionist said a maximum of 5 words when checking in - I have nothing against pragmatic communication, but being friendly is something else. When booking, I asked about a discount campaign on the hotel's website (you couldn't enter the discount code anywhere, i.e. you couldn't take advantage of the discount) and asked this question again when checking out: this was ignored and not answered when I asked. Frankly, you feel like you're being taken for a ride. Service is something else.

Large room in Dusseldorf was nice and spacious. We especially liked the wide beds. We found the bathroom very small with a very narrow toilet in the bathroom. Not pleasant. You also had to shower in a bath with a shower curtain in the bath. Not great. Water nice and hot. Breakfast in a pleasant room and well taken care of!It was nice that we could check in early and go to our room.We had asked for a quiet room but we were on the street with a lot of street noise. Sleeping with the window open was not possible because of the noise. Good light blackout options in the room.

Impossible to mix the water in the shower, the room is not what we expected, very small, the record player they say they have doesn't work, and 2 very damaged records. Breakfast good, well presented and what you need.

Our room is a little old and could use some new paint and bathroom updates. Due to the age of the building, the rooms are extremely noisy. The team was great, as was the location!

Good location! Very nice and attractively decorated. Nice room and had a good stay. The only downside was the shower, which was small and the shower curtain did not work properly, causing the entire bathroom to get wet.

The room could use an upgrade and some maintenance (creaky bed, bathroom not great) but otherwise we had a nice stay: good breakfast buffet, nice staff. Convenient location, halfway between Hbf and Altstadt.
