Can only rate the hotel. Could use new mattresses, didn't sleep well. If someone uses the toilet in the next room, you will hear the water running loudly, but this can be solved with ear plugs. Breakfast great, staff very friendly.

The only negative was the traffic noise in the morning hours. However, since the hotel is located on a country road, this is to be expected.The rooms were modern and clean.The food in the restaurant was not only inexpensive but also delicious.However, the “highlight” was the staff. I have never experienced such a friendly, polite and courteous waiter as here. It was the perfect mix of absolute top class service and still a "buddy feeling" in behavior.Unfortunately I can't remember his name (I think Jan...), but he definitely deserves more salary :-).I would come again if I had the chance.

Very tasty dishes where the price is just right. Very quiet location with a pleasant atmosphere. The waldklause hadn't even been on my radar until now. If you are looking for a great alternative in Gütersloh, you should find it here.

A very nice restaurant with the opportunity to sit outside, have been there many times, friendly, smiling staff who are very attentive but not intrusive. There were 6 people for dinner and everything arrived at the same time. Good service!

Went there for dinner for the first time with 3 couples. We were lucky to get a table as it was always fully booked.The food tasted very good, highly recommended.I don't have any information about the rooms.

Nice restaurant. I can't say anything about the rooms as I didn't stay there. The location makes an upscale impression and, from what I saw, has two separate halls. I was there for a celebration and we were well entertained. There was a rich buffet with a lot of variety. The drinks were also available in sufficient quantities, including alcoholic wine and beer as well as soft drinks. Very friendly service. Sufficient number of parking spaces. The location is a bit remote, but still easy to reach. We recommend.

We had dinner with friends at the restaurant last night. Very expensive menu, I had a KLAUSESCHNITZEL with some fries. Mayonnaise was charged extra, no salad at all. SCHNITZEL 10X12 CM FOR €23.90Seating was very worn and was uncomfortable. My wife had a cranberry apperitif, approx. 80 ml, price over €5.00. I actually wanted to finish off with a fruit schnapps from Prinz, but I wasn't prepared to pay €2.50 more than in equivalent/better restaurants in Gütersloh. PRICE/PERFORMANCE RATIO ABSOLUTELY NOT OK. I will not visit this restaurant again.Service was friendly and accommodating.

We were in the restaurant with friends. Food was very good, freshly prepared. Everyone was happy. The ventilation in the restaurant could be better. That would stop me from visiting again in the winter months.
