The service was very friendly and good.The menu was disappointing and underhanded. After it was seen that we were there with a voucher book, we got a special and totally overpriced card.This restaurant is a waste for us and we won't recommend it to anyone.

Not recommended

We stayed there as part of a family event. The hotel is currently being renovated. Construction site dirt in the stairwell is one thing. But I would have expected the rooms to be clean. Raid was dust. There was even dust in the closet.

Price-performance is great, the service is very accommodating and the atmosphere is cozy 👍

Great food, 11 people were more than enthusiastic about the goose breast. Nice service, highly recommended.

We have the voucher book for Hameln/Pyrmont and that is how we became aware of the restaurant.When reserving a table, we were informed that only the dishes from the “main menu” were valid for the voucher. OK, main menu sounds like "standard dishes" like schnitzel. What made me a little suspicious was the statement that you actually have to order 2-3 days in advance, otherwise some dishes will not be available, for example the bison steak. At first we thought about canceling the reservation, but then we went anyway.A cozy dining room with relatively new inventory awaits you. When ordering, we were again made aware that only the dishes on the main menu would be valid. These dishes would be special dishes. With this menu you would try to establish somewhat upscale cuisine. The menu also included dishes from €23 and up. Starting from cordon bleu to the already mentioned bison steak. A simple schnitzel, as we had hoped, not found on the menu. However, these are available in the normal card (which unfortunately is not part of the voucher book).We were a bit skeptical as to whether we had made the right choice. Ultimately we decided and ordered a dish with pork fillet and rump steak, with baked cauliflower and fried potatoes as sides (see photo). We were very surprised in a positive sense, both the pork fillet and the rump steak tasted very good. The fried potatoes were also very tasty, fried with lots of bacon and onions. Bread the cauliflower and then deep-fry it. All in all, a great dish that we enjoyed very much, but personally I wouldn't call it fine dining, at least not with the side dishes, the fried cauliflower and the fried potatoes. For more upscale cuisine, I would expect different side dishes.The taste of the dish was good, especially the sauce with fresh mushrooms.The highlight of the evening came later, at least for our children, because we were allowed to go to the bowling alley.It was an all-round successful evening for us and we can only recommend the restaurant.As a little tip for the operators: if upscale cuisine is to be offered, then I would offer appropriate side dishes. In this case you would have e.g. Sweet potatoes as a side dish, whether as fries, puree or pieces, and accompanied by a crisp, fresh salad. The fried cauliflower and the fried potatoes are more for the typical country inn (I liked both very much!).Also, the portion size was very good, probably way too big for gourmets.We will definitely come back again, then without a voucher book, and then the pyre will be tested.

We celebrated a birthday in the restaurant. The food was very tasty, plentiful and lovingly decorated. We were served kindly and attentively for hours.We were also allowed to use the bowling alley and had a lot of fun.Thank you!
