If you want to really relax after a day at work or on vacation, Nora's charming house on the hillside is the perfect place for you. The house has four individual, lovingly furnished rooms with beautiful wooden furniture and good beds. I've slept in all of them. Guests have access to two clean shower rooms and toilets and a practical shared kitchen with a refrigerator, pantry and induction cooker. A washing machine can also be used. The hostess always keeps the house in good order. From the wooden windows with shutters you can either look out over a usable wooden balcony onto an old beech forest or you have a spectacular view over the whole of Minden with the wide sky above. By bike or on foot, beautiful hiking trails start right outside the front door and allow you to quickly reach the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument and the heights of the surrounding nature reserves.

I lived here for three months in two different rooms while I looked for an apartment to rent. The hostess was incredibly friendly and warm from the first moment and you immediately felt welcome. I needed a place to stay that was pet friendly (cat), so I was incredibly happy to find a pet friendly place at Nora's BnB.I initially had one of the rooms on the upper floor. The blue room had a country house charm and lovingly arranged, light furniture. The associated bathroom on the floor is a shared bathroom with a shower that is shared with the person in the room opposite. Towels and water glasses for brushing teeth were provided. There was also a water carafe and glasses in the room. In the meantime, I once moved to a room on the middle floor, which was decorated in a traditional style with dark wooden furniture and had a balcony. Here three rooms share a common bathroom with a separate toilet. The sanitary facilities were very clean.There is a shared kitchen in the basement, there is a microwave and an induction cooker, as well as washing machines. Everything was clean and well maintained. One should be aware that it is not a modern hotel or tries to be, but a charming 20th century house that the owner runs and maintains lovingly and professionally. Each room is individually furnished, sometimes more country house style, sometimes more like grandparents', but I think that's exactly what makes it so charming. The journey can be very steep by bike and the nearest bus stop is - as is often the case in small towns - a twenty-minute walk downhill away, but it is in a super quiet location on the edge of the forest, which is ideal for walks and, depending on the room, you have a spectacular view Outlook! I am very happy to recommend Noraâs BnB!

A great little B&b in a beautiful, large country house in nature! The hostess is very nice and accommodating. It promises what its name suggests, nothing more and nothing less :D It was great for me as short-term accommodation!

We arrived late by bike and were warmly welcomed by Nora and Hazel (their friendly dog). The bikes could be stored. We didn't lack anything - Nora is a wonderful host and we felt very comfortable!

As a short stopover from France, we found this wonderful place right on the edge of the forest, which invited us to take wonderful walks. The spontaneous late arrival worked really well, we were greeted very friendly by the host Nora. The B&B is totally charming and nostalgic. There is a minibar with cold drinks, snacks, tea and coffee and sweets. Totally cute. We slept well in the idyllic surroundings. We were lovingly served breakfast, which we wanted to have at 8 a.m. (we had to leave early). Communication with Nora is A1. Thank you for the hospitality.

A cozy guesthouse, right on the mountain and forest with a view over Minden. Perfect for relaxing in nature. If you like antique furniture and individual style, this is the right place for you.Nora is a great, warm host. I would come back any time!
