Chose hotel because it was close to the train station. Aida at the front desk was very helpful with my check in. The room was fine and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast which had a good selection.

Bathroom in our room smells bad, probably from the water pipes clogging even before we were using them. Reception is a nightmare. The receptionist girl talking to us was giving faces and didn’t even do the standard protocol of saying when is breakfast (from what time to what time), what time can we check out,… We had to ask her for her to reply. Also earlier the week before we checked in we had our German colleague to call the hotel to see if we can store some frozen food samples (for our business trip) and they told my colleague on the phone that it was ok to do so. When we checked in that receptionist girl said we cannot store frozen sample in the hotel freezer. So I called my German colleague again to talk to her in German and I don’t know what they said in German, but my colleague said that all is solved and we can store the frozen samples now in the hotel. The receptionist just walked away after the call and 2 minutes later she came to me and said “My manager will not allow it and I’m done talking to you.” Clearly we were just having a polite conversation and requesting her and how she responded could be less rude. She could have just nicely responded that there was some miscommunication and we can no longer store the frozen samples. The attitude and faces she was throwing at us just shows how unprofessional their staffs are.

So we were very satisfied! You can drive into the underground car park after ringing the bell and pay later when checking in. We didn't have to wait in line! Everything very modern. In the evening you can get little things to eat at the bar. (flambée, pizza and baguette all tk) but it was delicious. The breakfast was very good and extensive! Among other things, coffee from a fully automatic machine with whole beans, fresh fruit, pancake machine, milk alternatives and much more! Beds were too hard for me personally, but I'm very sensitive and prefer to sleep in my own bed 😄we would book again!

Rooms are like in a hostel and everything is already familiar. The paint has lots of scratches and the carpet in the hallway has a lot of stains.Essential things like a refrigerator are missing.Check-in was strictly only possible from 3 p.m. (we were there at 2 p.m.)Despite the queen size, the bed only has two individual 80cm mattresses. The Chromecast on the television and the Bluetooth speaker installed in the room were positive.€90 a night is too much for that. Next time I'd rather go back to Motel One

I stayed for 1 night at the Holiday Inn the Niu Tab, a 10-minute walk from the main train station. The hotel is very nice and modernly furnished. The check in was very quick and very friendly. My room was on the 9th floor and had a great view over Düsseldorf. The room was rather spontaneously furnished. A desk and chair were missing. But it didn't bother me because I was only there to sleep anyway. It was also very quiet. Can definitely recommend the hotel. And would love to come back.
