perfect hotel for a business trip. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is not intrusive in cleaning, free parking but no more than 10 spaces

Overlook Hotel (Shining) or Hotel zum Eisblock ???? I often stay in hotels for work and have never had any major failures. I guess I was unlucky here... The hotel looks like a ghost hotel. The restaurant is closed and the reception was not staffed. No one to be seen. The keys for the booked rooms were on the counter with the corresponding names - that was it. Unfortunately the windows in my room were open (February) and the heaters were off. The room was very cold and still not warm after almost 2 hours and I asked for a solution by phone. The exchange room was a little warmer but still far from comfortable. Luckily there is a kebab shop opposite that is really good. There was no food or drink in the hotel itself... The rooms were clean and the furnishings were fine, but a cold room is no fun. Why do you leave the windows open in February and put the guest in a refrigerator???????? The breakfast was okay, but overall the hotel unfortunately doesn't make you feel comfortable.

Small hotel for an entertaining overnight stay. Rooms are very clean and pleasant. Furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but completely okay. Service very friendly and nice. Breakfast buffet very generous and good. Location is okay. There is a shop opposite.

Had a very nice room with a top mattress. My room was very quiet, also because there were high-quality light and soundproof roller shutters. The service and the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. I'll be back...

After I pointed out that there was no breakfast again, I was rude and asked to book somewhere else.It can't be that there is no breakfast and people keep looking for other excuses for it.Last time it wasn't on the weekend because staff were free.Now it's vacation time. A packed lunch is no substitute for a breakfast buffet!Then you can't offer rooms with breakfast.

Pleasant hotel, very nice staff. Rooms relatively small, everything clean and absolutely sufficient for 2 or 3 days. Breakfast buffet very good. I liked everything.

The room is small, the furnishings are rather old, but at least the room is clean. Unfortunately, and this really bothered me, the window was so dirty from the outside that opening it always carried the risk of this dust/dirt getting into the inside of the room. When the window is closed you notice less of the street and more of the other guests

First of all, the stay (2 people, 2 nights): double room is clean, beds are very soft (too soft for me, a matter of taste), bathroom with a large window and large shower, breakfast good, staff friendly, but nothing outstanding, just good average. That would have been 4 stars, but 2 stars deducted because of the following circumstance, which made me feel a bit ripped off: on the phone I was given a price of €99 (on the internet it says €95, so be it) and said that it was Unfortunately there would be no breakfast and no room service on the desired weekend due to a lack of staff. The price without breakfast and without service would be €84, i.e. €15 less. I agreed. When I checked in I was asked if I wanted to add breakfast as the staff was now available. I added breakfast, which is what I actually wanted from the start. On the bill I then saw that breakfast was charged at 20 per day. So I paid 105 per night - and the beds weren't even made, the trash cans weren't emptied, and there were no fresh towels (no room service). When I asked at the reception they didn't respond and insisted on the increased price. Sorry, but that's not how you treat guests. Therefore, unfortunately only 2 stars from me.

Staff very friendly, breakfast buffet delicious and leaves nothing to be desired. My room in the building next door was rather small and seemed a bit old, but it was completely okay and clean. The bed inSingle room also a bit small. WiFi sometimes with small dropouts.
