We stayed in this accommodation for two nights. The guest house is in a very idyllic location and the entire house is very tastefully furnished, we immediately felt at home.You can cook for yourself in a large kitchen; all the necessary utensils are available.The bathrooms available are well maintained.The landlady and the local contact person are very friendly and can be reached at any time.Conclusion: we would love to come back!

Simply ridiculous.....demanding 85 euros for a broom closet is a disgrace. The room is also very cold and the toilet and shower are across the hall.Breakfast is also not offered.85 euros is simply ridiculous

In the Alte Liebe guesthouse you are self-catering. And that's good…Everything you need is there.Florian is there if something is missing and the cleaning team is also super nice and happy to help.The silence and the incredibly beautiful landscape that invite you to hike is just the thing if you just want to leave everyday life behind you.

The guest house is a suitable location for hosting celebrations of any kind.There is a large property with a covered terrace and a barbecue.The large heated lounge also offers many opportunities to dance, sit together in front of the large fireplace or relax in the silence of the forest surroundings.It's also worth taking a walk through the forest, which is right outside the door.The house has an irresistible charm and you immediately feel at home. Recommended for everyone.Whether for a short vacation, partying or simply switching off and escaping everyday life.There is enough space for parking in front of the door. The entrance is at ground level.

If you like the peace and the view of nature, you will be in good hands here in the rustic and cute accommodation, in a communal atmosphere, where you can cook for yourself and unwind. Like going back in time 🙂. I'd love to come back

We spent the night in the VW bus in front of Alte Liebe and were able to use the shared kitchen and bathroom. Very friendly hosts who understand the details that make a mini vacation so wonderfully relaxing. This starts with the reserved parking space with key handover despite late arrival, and doesn't stop with canned ravioli, coffee and beer provided against payment into the trusted cash register. It's great when vacation works like this for guests and hosts! We'd love to come back!

A very disappointing experience. We needed accommodations in order to attend a family birthday so my wife booked 4 nights for the 3 of us. We knew $140 euro per night was a high price for the area but assumed the quality would reflect the price. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and the positive reviews aren’t supported by our experience, for the following reasons: the ground floor, especially near the main kitchen, had a very powerful odor of mildew that was very distasteful each time we entered and left the house; our 2nd floor apartment was infested with yellow-jackets (we killed numerous); 2 of our 4 mattresses were like old sponges; towels were so old and thin they were like tissues; the 3 knives in the kitchen were all damaged and there were no teaspoons; and our shower door wouldn’t completely close resulting in water leaking out in the bathroom during each use. The experience seemed as if the owner only wanted to quickly extract as much as possible during high season while ignoring that his business was supposed to be one of hospitality and reputation. It’s a pity that what must have once been a decent farmhouse is now so untended and unloved.

Rustic & idyllic location - The Alte Liebe guesthouse is a rustic half-timbered cottage, which only really becomes visible inside. The bedrooms and common areas are all furnished with great attention to detail. The accommodation is geared towards self-catering, with a fully equipped kitchen available for use. There is a parking space outside and bicycles can be left on the terrace.Attentive & flexible - The manager/caretaker impresses with full flexibility regarding check-in, as long as the approximate arrival time is communicated a few days in advance. You will then need to contact us again approx. 15 minutes before your actual arrival so that you can be welcomed on site. Payment can be made in cash, by card or PayPal. In addition, he is willing to negotiate with special requests (not exceeding the minimum length of stay) and suggests fair solutions.
