A chance find on the internet where we spent a relaxing week on holiday. The well-kept place, idyllically located on the Diemel, is run by a friendly and committed couple. The spacious sanitary facilities are very clean and all other facilities are impeccable. A campsite without unnecessary frills in an interesting landscape with a variety of activities. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful natural campsite, surrounded by the Diemel. Old trees, lots of shade, sunny on the meadow. Super helpful operator couple!Bread service, small restaurant.Great ambience, the street is a little noisy. But you can easily ignore that. Fishing is possible on site to a limited extent or you can purchase a ticket for the Diemel from Edeka (€10).Sanitary a little older but clean and tidy.Overall you can only feel good there!!!Especially since the price is really cheap!

A beautiful traditional campsite on the fast-flowing Diemel river. Unlike most campsites, there are still many tents and that gives the campsite a friendly atmosphere.I am disabled myself and the facilities for me were good. The only downside was that you had to climb a flight of stairs to reach the reception and restaurant. Menu is limited but the meals are good

A top campsite, clear case, beautifully located, nice operators, supplies are great, bread roll service, delicious 😋 beer 🍺, nice shady pitches, swimming options... and from here it's easy to get started, whether on foot or by car by bike, or even by motorbike ☝️😎...Oh yes, a nice little coffee ☕️ is also attached...I'll be back ☝️🌞😎

Very nice campsite with a super friendly groundskeeper, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful surroundings, a nice bistro with delicious schnitzel dishes and the original VW currywurst as well as several types of draft beer and a large selection of Prinz's fine schnapps. Electricity is extra and showering costs 1.50 euros (shower coin). We didn't try WiFi. Attention: Payment is only possible with cash, but the ATM at the Sparkasse is only about 700 m away. A very well-stocked Edeka with very friendly staff can also be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The street can only be heard during the day, everything is quiet in the evening and at night

The location of the place and the place itself are okay. But there are far too few toilets! Many are closed and queuing is the norm. Showers 1.50 euros...

Quite a few deep holes in the large tent meadow that are difficult to get out of. But overall everything was clean and tidy. Bread rolls and gazette service are quite good.

Very nice operator.There were rolls and always a kind word.Great mill cafe with great cake and very good coffee.Clean toilets and showers.Nice environment. We were on the tent meadow with a roof tent and dog.It was also cheap.😉

First impression: a friendly campsite with positive intentions. Campsite located on an island of the Diemel river. Peace, murmur of the water and birds. Okay, some road noises, but not disturbing. Sanitary facilities in good condition. Friendly campsite manager, ready to help you. Just a no-nonsense campsite in beautiful surroundings. Cycling and walking are all possible. After a week you will start to love this campsite and its surroundings. To come back!

Small but more than fine. Place great. Sanitary facilities top. We have been here since 2013 and have our regular spot right next to the weir. No matter whether on the campsite or in the holiday apartments. It has almost become a second home.

Small, cozy campsite with super friendly owners who are always available. On a nice river for children, plenty of shade through the trees. Located along a road and you can hear that, but also a lot of birds. Nice public outdoor swimming pool a few 100 meters away and beautiful surroundings for cycling and walking. The price is also very good and you can order sandwiches. Supermarket within cycling distance.

A small, cozy campsite. Delicious rolls for breakfast, both comfortable in terms of price and idyllic in terms of the facility.We didn't try the bathing area in the Diemel. Sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean.The mill café 50 meters in front has delicious cake!We'd love to come back!
