Hotel-Restaurant “Zur Struth” – excellent food and cozy roomsMy stay at the Hotel-Restaurant “Zur Struth” was very pleasant. Particularly noteworthy is the restaurant, which impresses with a diverse menu and excellent dishes. The food was fresh, tasty and served in a cozy atmosphere – definitely a highlight of my visit.The rooms are also commendable. They are well-equipped, clean and offer the comfort you would expect from a hotel of this category. After a long day I was able to relax here wonderfully.The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more pleasant. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right.I can highly recommend the Hotel-Restaurant “Zur Struth”, both for culinary enjoyment and for a relaxing overnight stay.

I booked an overnight stay on my bike tour. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area.The reception was very friendly. I was able to safely store my bike in a garage.The ground floor room was quiet and clean with a good bed. There was a simple but sufficient breakfast buffet.Price and performance were right.Unfortunately the restaurant was currently on holiday.The city and the train station can be easily reached on foot.

Paid twice because the debit via the online portal is not accepted on site. An absolute no go for me! Also poor customer service. Bed linen like grandma's. You could hardly move in the shower. In addition, everything was very noisy and the breakfast was very, very clear. Just coffee, nothing else. With the cheese and sausage you could tell that it wasn't exactly fresh. For me, another booking is out of the question.

Attended an event, didn't stay overnight. There was a buffet with no description of the courses. Asparagus soup had had little contact with asparagus, shredded poultry was satisfactory, vegetables had no taste at all, mushroom cream sauce was the best, salad didn't really seem fresh either, dessert was a fruit salad with a metallic aftertaste, the chocolate pudding was a cheap product. And that cost an incredible €45.5.

Well - very quiet location, but the center could still be reached on foot in 15 to 20 minutes.The service person who accompanied the breakfast was very friendly. Otherwise there was no contact with a human being. The room was clean and had no carpet for allergy sufferers. WiFi was quick to set up and had sufficient speed. The breakfast buffet was average. The heating in the room was lowered in the evening, it got cold in the hut, but the extra blanket was missing in the closet.Lt. According to the hotel's information leaflet, the restaurant was supposed to be open from Monday to Saturday, but everything was closed on Monday. On Tuesday it was obviously in operation, a pungent smell of frying oil permeated the first floor and also spread into the closed room. Ventilation was not possible because the smokers' meeting point is under room (7) and then chip fat mixed with the smell of cigarette butts - absolutely unbearable!When I mentioned the problem with the odor when paying the next morning, I was met with incomprehension. The pike was still standing in the hallway in the morning.I don't have to have it again.

Very small rooms. The food in the restaurant was tasty, although the breakfast was monotonous. A big disadvantage is the inability to combine payments for the hotel and restaurant.

Really bad bed, creaks, squeaks and mattress sags. Breakfast very economical. Extremely noisy, price a bit high for that.

Very quiet hotel, in a purely residential area with no night traffic. Room quality is average, more suitable for short stays for work-related reasons. Restaurant service was very good! I can't fully understand the other comments regarding the boss. He was very friendly towards me.In Swabia there is a saying: "As you call into the forest, it echoes out again."

Great hotel, clean, reasonable beds, indeed small rooms and bathroom, but come to sleep and shower and is therefore fully equipped.Nice bottle of water in the room. Simple breakfast and no espresso available.
