Visiting my sister in Grebenstein for a funeral. Stayed at the Hotel & Restaurant Deutsche Eiche for 2 nights. Idyllic and rustic, it immediately suited my taste. Absolutely newly renovated. Very friendly and always attentive staff. And then the menu, as one would hope and imagine for a rural area. Great selection and offers. Conclusion: The chef has a particularly good command of his craft. Big compliment. The rooms are new, bright and very modern.I felt really comfortable in this atmosphere.Top price-performance ratio.Next time you visit the Deutsche Eiche.

An evening in the Deutsche Eiche – just like being at home!Last Sunday I had dinner with my girlfriend at Deutsche Eiche and it was simply fantastic! As soon as we walked in we felt really comfortable. The service was super friendly without being intrusive - just right for enjoying the evening.And then the food... wow! I had the Königsberger Klopse and they were simply awesome. Tender, perfectly seasoned and with this wonderfully creamy sauce that tasted just like I remember it from before. It totally reminded me of Sundays with my grandma - real comfort food where you can feel that everything is cooked with love.All in all it was just a wonderful evening. Deutsche Eiche manages to get to the heart of traditional German cuisine without being complicated. We'll definitely be back - we haven't eaten so well in a long time. Thank you for this wonderful time and the delicious food!

Yesterday we had a small family celebration with 10 people. The tablewas pre-ordered. We received a very friendly welcome and overall the service was very good. The menu was manageable, but had something to suit every taste including vegetarian dishes. The food was very good.

Unfortunately, I understood too late what gem Ms. Weiẞ had revived here. If you want to have a delicious meal before Christmas, take advantage of the opportunity. Things won't go any further in the New Year. Today top roast goose (pre-ordered), delicious wines, nice people. It's a shame you ran out of air.

We were there last weekend with 2 children (9 years and 2 years)We were warmly welcomed and treated. We had the apartment, it was very large and clean and we felt comfortable. The breakfast was rich and comfortably laid out. The dinner was plentiful and tasted great. A huge compliment to the service, especially Jasmina, my children immediately took her to their hearts. Even if you had to wait a little it wasn't a problem if you're on vacation you're not under time pressure and if you want quality it takes a while... I can't understand it when people here get upset about things because of food, waiting time etc. In today's difficult situation in the hotel and catering industry, some people can be happy if they can even get something to eat outside.So we thank you again for everything. And we wish the entire Deutsche Eiche team all the best.

We were traveling for the weekend with 2 children (5 years & 11 months) and needed accommodation within walking distance as we were invited to a birthday party. We received a very warm welcome and felt totally comfortable. The rooms are clean, tidy, spacious and cozy. The staff is without exception warm, helpful and flexible. The food in the restaurant was delicious, fresh and seasonal, and the price was completely reasonable. The breakfast was very rich and varied. The hotel is located on a quiet side street with plenty of parking.Conclusion: We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!!! Thanks a lot!

Came with high expectations and unfortunately left disappointed. Almost 1.5 hours of waiting time until the starter starts is too long for our taste. Especially when the dishes come to the table at noticeably different times (also applies to the main course). The time problem also came into play during the course of the evening in the drinks service (glasses remained empty for a long time without being asked). All of this could be overlooked if you were compensated with a great meal. Unfortunately, that is not the case either. Sometimes not hot, dumplings in the "Pfanni" style, sauces resemble a bag/powder mush, bruscetta served with a bland baguette. Overall, the food conveys little love or good craftsmanship. The service is apparently aware of the weaknesses and has tried to iron out the problems with free schnapps. Unfortunately, it doesn't help much if, last but not least, no proper invoice is presented (the invoice amount was only communicated verbally) and the cash presented is pocketed without comment, without asking whether the amount is "correct".All in all a very mediocre experience, a shame.

We have booked for our family weekend for 10 adults and 2 children.We had arrived much earlier than expected.But that wasn't a problem at all.We received a very friendly welcome and were able to move into our rooms straight away.The rooms are very spacious, cozy, bright and very clean.It was also possible to dine in the restaurant, which we found very good as it meant you could end the evening comfortably.The food is prepared fresh and very tasty.The service is also competent, attentive and friendly.The breakfast can't be beat!I have rarely seen the way the table is prepared for breakfast with such care.Everything included!!! Wishes are promptly fulfilled.I can absolutely recommend the German oak.Everything is very easy to reach on foot.Thanks for the great hospitality!
