Perfect for visiting Hercules. Nice service, good breakfast, relaxed location/arrival. Quite cheap for 2 people. Everything you need for a short trip. I would book again.

To put it briefly:The hotel seemed to be fully booked, so there was a lot going on and will soon explain a few negative points.Nevertheless, the operator could have been prepared for this.Positive:- Staff friendly- The location is great- Attractive design of the hotel- Staying with a dog went smoothly- Rich, delicious breakfast- Room size good and cleanNegative- Stone floor in the shower was broken - stones were missing- Toilet lid completely yellowed- Breakfast room far too small, narrow and loud- mildew/mold stains on the window- There are far too few parking spaces- "Cocktail bar" is a reception- Food in the restaurant is very simple, limited selection (5 soups, 3 tarte flambées and 2 pizzas)

The hotel is in a good location, you can reach the edge of the forest in just a few minutes and from there you can reach Hercules in about 10-15 minutes. …

The rooms are very noisy. The entrance to the shower cubicle is quite narrow. When you open your legs, the water from the cabin doors runs into the bathroom and has the potential to slip. The breakfast room is very cramped and noisy. If you want a quiet and relaxed breakfast, you won't like it so much in the cold season. In summer you can have breakfast outside.

Great hotel, great rooms. However, the receptionist (older woman with shorter hair) was absolutely unfriendly, didn't really take me seriously and looked at me as if I were in the wrong place. Maybe it's because I look southern and I guess I wasn't welcome for them.

Highly recommended for a visit to Kassel. Hercules and Park are nearby and the city is also easy to reach by bus. My Card Plus was included in the price and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The staff offers good service and is very helpful.

Very nice small and very cozy hotel. Beautifully located right on the edge of the Habichtswald, 15 minutes from Herkules. Sufficient parking options. The rooms are lovingly furnished. Everything very clean. Rich, varied breakfast. Courteous and friendly staff. A real recommendation!

It was nice that you could get into the room earlier.Unfortunately you can hardly see anything from the rooms, let alone Hercules.Rooms clean, service nice and helpful.There are a lot of silicone seams in the bathroom that don't look good and the floor in the shower has lived its life.It's a shame that there is no minibar.The garbage cans are in front of the front door and it's anything but pleasant.Unfortunately there is no elevator either.

The hotel does not correspond to the information on the internet. The rooms are totally outdated and you shouldn't be afraid of all kinds of insects. It's unclean, there was even hair in the bed, I don't even want to know. It is not recommended!

There were pieces of silver, harvestmen and spider webs in the room.After asking about it at reception, the answer was "it's the humidity and silver pieces are just hard to get away"If I said that an exterminator could help, I would get an angry look.

Very nicely located hotel. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished. Unfortunately you can't stay there long term as the rooms are quite small. But ideal for a short vacation. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. You could also order small things in the evening, but understandably it was frozen food. But there are 2-3 restaurants within walking distance. We spent 4 lovely days and 3 nights there. The short walk to Hercules is very nice.

My wife and I arrive with dog to a nice large room, which contains what you expect from the category. Large double bed, desk, a chair, an upholstered chair and a nice large balcony with a view of the forest.It is located on the edge of an incredibly beautiful forest area, close to the Hercules monument. The monument is located high, in the middle of a large beautiful forest, with wide paths everywhere and a unique view of Kassel city and the Kassel hills. It is definitely worth a visit that you should treat yourself and family during your stay.There is no restaurant in the hotel, but a cafe with a limited selection of light meals. The cafe closes at 21:30We ate 100m down the street and had traditional German food.The breakfast is good with a wide selection. we were allowed to bring the dog into one corner furthest away, it's a reasonable rule as there aren't large rooms, but fine.Price and quality are ok, we would like to come again.
