We spent three days (two nights) of couples' wellness vacation here and were very satisfied. The rooms are not the most modern, but are far from in need of renovation. If you look closely you will find minor signs of wear. Basically, we found our room to be very clean and equipped with little touches when we moved in. There was more than enough space, especially the bathroom was very spacious. It wasn't noisy either, we didn't hear anything from the neighboring rooms. The service was perfect! The staff at breakfast and dinner buffet were very nice, courteous, attentive and always very friendly! The breakfast and evening buffets left nothing to be desired - the food was really great, especially in the evenings. There were not (only) the classic hotel buffet dishes - but also some unusual dishes that you wouldn't necessarily expect at a hotel buffet - and they were also really good quality. We didn't have to wait long in the morning or evening. The spring thermal baths next door are small, but actually offer everything you need for a wellness holiday. The sauna area offers three saunas in which we always found a place. After the sauna session there is enough space to relax or read in a very cozy atmosphere. The location of the hotel is optimal. Our room had a view directly onto the spa gardens, where you can go for a wonderful walk. For example, we took the bus (free to use thanks to the spa card) to Bad Wildungen, explored the town and returned on foot through the spa park - it took about 45 minutes. There is a lot to discover in the spa park itself - very nice facility! We were completely impressed by the Hotel Aquavita and we are determined to come back again!

My partner and I had three wonderful days at the Hotel Aquavita and cannot understand all the negative reviews. If you are looking for a relaxing break in a quiet but beautiful atmosphere with great value for money, you will find it here. The thermal baths are small but nice. There are different sized pools and beautiful four-poster beds. The sauna area is also beautifully designed. There are enough relaxation areas and free water. There are four saunas - completely sufficient! The room is a bit old, but was spacious and clean. We particularly liked the hotel's little touches: be it the Nespresso machine with capsules in the room, the bag filled with towels and bathrobes to take with you to the sauna, the hotel's daily self-designed "morning post" on the breakfast table or the two bottles of water afterwards Check-out to refresh yourself for the journey home. The staff was always super friendly. We would also like to highlight the really delicious breakfast and evening buffet, which was always varied. Thanks for the great time, we'll be happy to come back :)

The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. I can say the same about the staff in the restaurant, which also applies to the cleaning staff. One negative thing I have to say is that during the week the sauna doesn't turn on until 3 p.m., which I think is too late. OK, you can tell reception if you want it to be turned on earlier, but that's kind of annoying. Overall, a hotel under good management that you can recommend without hesitation. I've been there 7 times and there will definitely be more visits to come.

The staff at reception are really very friendly and helpful. The breakfast service and dinner service are also worth highlighting.Unfortunately, that was it for the positive impressions I remembered from our three-day stay.Considering the price-performance ratio, it's a disgrace. The rooms are very dated and deserve a renovation. Only the bathroom was new.The service didn't even notice that there were still dirty spoons in our room from our predecessors. No matter, we cleaned it ourselves. The wellness offer was rather poor. The aqua fitness course only lasted a few minutes. However, you shouldn't expect a motivated trainer. Just minutes before he was in charge of the bistro. There were dirty dishes here too, which seemed to spread to several areas. The sauna only opens its doors at 3 p.m. There were only a few saunas available. You can also save yourself the trouble of looking for an infusion master. There are three swimming pools, 2 indoors and one outside, okay but nothing more.At 45, I'm apparently still far too young for the hotel, because the average guest only once felt 20 years older and I don't know whether they're still that critical. In terms of price-performance ratio, the hotel is definitely a no-go.

I had the pleasure of hosting a private celebration at the Hotel Aquavita/Restaurant Schwanenteich in spring 2024 and can wholeheartedly give it five stars based on my experiences. From the preliminary discussions with the chef and the service manager to the selection of food and drinks (vegan was possible in all courses and tasty) to the quality and taste of the food to the fulfillment of individual wishes to the always friendly and attentive service, everything was top . Gladly again at any time!

First the positive:The staff at the reception is very friendly and accommodating. The first impression was positive. The connection to the thermal baths was good, we were lucky that there wasn't much going on because the thermal baths are also open to the public. The breakfast buffet was very rich, everything was there, it was always freshly stocked and left nothing to be desired. Even sparkling wine was on offer.Location of the hotel is very good, bus connection right in front of the house. The place is nice and quiet, there are small shops to buy souvenirs, the spa park is beautifully located and suitable for longer walks. Now the not so pleasant thing:The hotel does not promise what is advertised on the homepage. The room was borderline. The furniture is getting old, the furniture is rattled, some of it is broken. The shower door doesn't close, so the bathroom floods when showering. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Room definitely not 4 stars, at most 2. (Pictures and reality are very far apart).A very unpleasant smell in the hallway; when we asked, they couldn't explain where it came from. The loungers in the swimming pool are terrible, the cushions are heavily stained, you don't want to know any more! The language barrier in the dining room and in the restaurant (which belong together) was high. It was difficult to understand when ordering. But the worst thing was that from 8 p.m. the tables were already set for breakfast. When we asked, we were forbidden to sit down there. The same thing happened in the restaurant, as soon as a table became available, it was set up for breakfast, even though the restaurant is open until 10:30 p.m. according to the homepage. You felt very unwanted. The price of the evening buffet is out of this world, value for money is not justified. All in all: we didn't feel comfortable, and the breakfast and the staff at reception couldn't make up for it.4 stars not justified.

Just bad!!! Price performance and quality are zero. For me the hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars, if only 1 at all. What I experienced there in 2 days is something I have never experienced anywhere else. I also took pictures of the room for my own protection so that it wouldn't be said afterwards that the guest was lying. I will "NEVER" come back again.
