Very chic guesthouse, ideally located and totally ok in terms of price. Very tastefully furnished rooms, the bathroom was very clean and comfortable.It's a shame there's no breakfast. Unfortunately there is no restaurant in town, but I was able to order pizza via Lieferando! :) Recommended.

Our overnight guests were very satisfied with their accommodation. You woke up really well rested - thank you for your good choice of hostel! ... Communication went smoothly. We would have liked to have had more time to hike in this beautiful area. Highly recommended hostel!

I've slept better, a small refrigerator for tens of people in the hallway was great, and the water boiler in the room was great

Unfortunately, both mattresses in the tiny room number 3 were so worn out that we decided to leave the hotel shortly after arriving (and testing it out)!We don't do that to ourselves or our intervertebral discs anymore when we're over 50!When we arrived (check-in only from 3:00 p.m.) we were faced with a locked door and 6 key boxes with combination locks.There was no code in the booking confirmation. So we contacted the owner by phone to get the code.There are no instructions on the front door of the hotel.What do you do if the battery is empty or you don't have a cell phone with you??? 🤷🏼♀️The room and bathroom were clean and tidy!

A bit inconspicuous from the outside and at first it took some getting used to, as there was no service at all (but we were given excellent, comprehensive and very friendly information by phone from the owner). Inside, the guesthouse is bright, new and modernly furnished, the room is functional and very well maintained, and a really wonderfully clean shower room (small but nice!). Reason for our trip: Cycling tour through the Waldecker Land with an overnight stay at “Herr Berge”. We can recommend!The only small suggestion for improvement: mineral water (or similar) in the refrigerator for self-service purchase from a trusted cash register.

I was traveling for work for 2 days and was looking for a quiet guesthouse and found it here.Since I couldn't arrive until later in the evening, my room key was left in the safe at the entrance. Perfect!My room was attractively furnished, clean and was pleasantly cool despite the outside temperature of over 30 degrees.So all in all an absolutely good stay

Everything simple, pragmatic and clean. Only the bed was "soft as butter".A Lidl mattress for €50 could have given me a nice night. So she was a nightmare.Booking online is cheaper than over the phone.Oh...., the rooster 🐓 opposite is also inconsiderate!

Very well-equipped and beautiful rooms with very good beds and modern bathrooms. Quiet location and wonderful surroundings for hiking and the beautiful medieval town of Fritzlar. We recommend.

We felt very comfortable with Mr. Berge: my room was excellent, quiet, a great bathroom! The guesthouse offers all the prerequisites for celebrating happily and happily: the rooms are inviting, the kitchen is well equipped even for large groups, and everything you need is there. Everything is new and works! The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Can only warmly recommend Mr. Berge!
