Centrally located, a lot of traffic, but ok with the windows closed.Rooms clean and functional. Good price-performance ratio.The owner very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious.

We wanted to spend a family weekend in Melsungen, unfortunately the hotel was so modest that we decided to leave after one night and didn't want to put ourselves through any more of it.The room was small, you had to lower the blind all the way so that the flashing traffic light in front of the window didn't annoy you.Since it was very warm, you had to sleep with the window open and you had the feeling that the freight trains, which thunder past about every 20 minutes, were driving directly through your room. Plus trucks and I think there were 4 or 5 ambulances with sirens. Sleep was out of the question.The breakfast couldn't be beaten in terms of loveliness.The worst accommodation I have stayed in so far.

Unfortunately not a good experience. At first glance it looks nice in the cute half-timbered house, but even the comfort room was dirty (hair everywhere, linoleum floor sticky), the shower couldn't be closed, which meant that there was water everywhere and the Lady at breakfast could have been friendlier…There was also nothing vegan at breakfast, apart from apples and jam. Too bad. I wouldn't book again. Vegetarian then muesli with milk or rolls with cheese/nut nougat cream…It was also very noisy because the hotel was right on the main street and, even worse, on the train tracks…WiFi didn't work either.

Friendly, helpful staff. The house is a bit old, but is functionally furnished. Our room was clean. The passing trains don't bother you when the window is closed. Breakfast was OK, but not overly noteworthy. Okay for one night at this price.

The hotel is not recommended. It's on a very noisy street. The rooms are narrow (we had booked comfort rooms). The bathroom has moldy corners.When we arrived there was only a letter with a room key. There was no one there. Breakfast was decent, but we had to set the table ourselves. There was no one here either.

When we arrived we found out that the double room with bathroom we had booked (and confirmed) had a bathroom, but that it had to be reached via the hallway. The hotel solved this problem confidently by providing bathrobes, slippers and a discount. Unfortunately, the bathroom turned out to be not particularly clean (tile adhesive on the floor, mold starting to appear in the shower), the toilet is mounted a few centimeters above the floor (it's almost impossible to get up there...), and the rain shower, although nice looking, showers , because mounted next to a ceiling beam at a slight angle, the wall and the fitting, but not the guest.We found the room to be large, but not particularly clean. Hair from the previous section on the bed and floor. Despite the road in front of the house and the busy railway line just behind the road, we slept peacefully; the windows in the room are good.The breakfast buffet, on the other hand - despite the baked rolls, hopefully only due to the "Sunday morning" factor - was good, plentiful and absolutely fine. If there had been a little more space in the dining room, it would have improved the atmosphere.Apparently the house is currently being renovated. OK. Still a lot of room for improvement; We couldn't confirm the impression of the pictures from the internet. The undoubtedly existing and really appreciated willingness to provide service from the team (including the lady at the reception who actually hardly speaks any German) only helps to a limited extent.

Although they are very friendly, and everything is clean, there is a lot of noise in the rooms and the heating is not enough. Needs some improvements in this regard.The price is good and it is located in a good place to visit the city, take a train or just passing through.

This hotel cannot be recommended in any way. The rooms are poorly renovated and there is mold in the bathroom.The only employee was completely overwhelmed and didn't speak German.When we asked that the room be tidied, she said that since our pajamas were in the bed, she couldn't clean it.Breakfast was a complete disaster, moldy fruit, the milk was sour and the juices spilled over in the unwashed carafes. Sausage and cheese were not cooled and covered.The train line felt like it ran through the room.

Nice host couple, good but much too late breakfast: "Included breakfast buffet daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m." according to the description, in reality (01.10.22): 7:30 a.m. during the week, 8:30 a.m. on Sundays. This really bothered us as early risers because we chose this house because of the early breakfast. In the end we were at the local bakery cafe. Good location close to the beautiful old town. Cozy but dark room
