The house is beautifully renovated and welcoming. Unfortunately, the rooms are old and worn out, while the staircase is new and modern. The beds - I changed rooms after the first night because I didn't even have a socket at my desk - were far too soft and rather sagging. The shower head was broken and completely calcified. The water radiates in all directions.Contactless check-in is nice, but I never met anyone at the hotel. Nobody could be reached by phone either, all communication took place via SMS. The key comes from the machine. An outdated room is no problem if you replace the mattress and soak the shower head in vinegar water for 10 minutes. The clear highlight is the butcher shop downstairs in the house. There are friendly staff and excellent products. If you don't want a hotel breakfast, you can just get a coffee and a sandwich for little money. That really broke it for me.

The rooms are very classically furnished and the beds are very comfortable. There are very few alternatives in the area.Communication is very difficult and only possible via email. The butcher shop is said to be very good for meat eaters...for breakfast. But around the corner there is a very good bakery-café that is also open on Sundays. You can have a very good breakfast there.Very large parking lot available. We would love to come back to visit relatives.

Absolutely unprofessional. No answer to calls (only a forwarding to the booking portal)No response to email. And ultimately there are no rooms that can be accessed by wheelchair.

Hotel in Eiterfeld. The location is not bad for people who have something to do locally. Dinner there was a bit tricky as a lot of things were unplanned. The rooms we had were rather outdated but at the same time kept very clean. Bathroom took some getting used to. Shower very small and also a bit run down. Moldy joints, calcified shower head & worn toilet seat. One evening there was no hot water. Unfortunately, you couldn't reach the reception by phone, if you were a hotel guest and had something difficult to clarify. The hotel itself doesn't suggest that the rooms are that old, as everything else seems very modern and obviously new. The walls are very thin. The hotel would be great with renovated rooms and the breakfast in the butcher shop in the house was very tasty but could not be transferred to the room.

I had never been in such a bad hotel, there is no kettle so you can not make coffee or tee, I had to stay longer and over the weekend so there wasn't hot water in the bathroom and no heating in the room. The phone number on the reception (only a desk, without people) was not reachable. If you must stay longer than a day avoid it.

The rooms are appropriate for the price. However, it is not possible to reach anyone by phone. If you have any questions or problems, no one answers the phone. The butcher shop only indirectly belongs to the hotel. Breakfast cannot be charged to the room. Breakfast is also limited to rolls and sausage. No muesli, nothing sweet, nothing for a meal that has to keep you full for a long time.

I am extremely disappointed. I chose this hotel because of the good reviews, but I can't understand the positive opinions. I can't say whether the staff were friendly because I didn't meet any. Check-in was a complete disaster, especially in terms of data protection. How do you please ensure that no one else just takes the key cards from the "reception"? I didn't get any breakfast either. Of course there is no information about this either.

Upstairs modern rooms, downstairs a bit outdated but neat
