The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge.The entire staff was very, very friendly and accommodating.The breakfast and dinner were plentiful and, in my opinion, nothing was missing.The location for hiking was also very good.Thank you dear Krew 😊 for the lovely long weekend. We'll be back

I was a guest at krenzers röhn for 3 days (i.e. 2 nights). From the outside, the Krenzers is a beautiful old inn. At reception you will be greeted in a friendly manner and offered a sip of apple cherry. The rooms are clean and tidy, but nothing special. Better youth hostel describes the whole thing quite well.I was most excited about the food. Because in front of the door of the inn, you are informed that the hotel's restaurant is à la carte in Hesse (a restaurant award).BreakfastIf I start with breakfast, everything you need in the morning was there. However, the breakfast doesn't particularly stand out. It's organic, but I know it that way, even from other hotels.At breakfast I had to choose between 4 different dishes for dinner. You then had to enter your name on a list for the dish you chose. I understand that this method saves time in the evening and perhaps makes the whole thing a little easier to plan, but I just think it's nicer if you choose something from a menu in the evening. This makes the whole thing feel a bit like rehab. You always have to put yourself on a list there when it comes to dinner.DinnerThe starter consisted of a buffet which was rich and tasty. The main course, on the other hand, tasted somehow boring. Unfortunately, the “apple” creative measure couldn’t change that. The dessert, on the other hand, was good again. But nothing that I haven't eaten better somewhere else.Overall the food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't have expected it to be in a restaurant guide.The location of the hotel is on the one hand nice and on the other hand not. Although it is well connected to hiking trails and well-known sights in the Röhn, the hotel is located in the middle of the village's main street. This means you can hear every car.The staff gets full marks from me. It was friendly and accommodating and you could just tell that people enjoyed coming to work.In terms of price, I was a bit surprised that a double room (which I describe as a better youth hostel room) for 2 nights including breakfast costs €320. In addition, the hotel/inn is not located in a big city (where such prices are more common) and there is no room service.

I am fully aware that my rating is somewhat negative, but my expectations were not met. Neither in the food nor in the rooms. The rooms are large and clean, but with an overnight price of 160 for 2 people, I would expect a fresh towel every day. This was only available upon request. However, there was no quick cleaning of the room for 2 days. The shower mixer tap was broken and couldn't be adjusted properly...hot or cold, there was nothing in between.The evening menu for 40,-- consisted of a salad buffet, which was good, a fried schnitzel and pasta, which were definitely not freshly prepared... from the fridge and dried out... I know the difference to "al dente". I. The dessert was again OK. The breakfast is rich but I missed oat or soy milk. I also had to wonder that the milk in the coffee machine comes from a discount store, nothing organic and the idea of nature that the hotel is actually committed to. From my point of view, rolls were more about the lecture.WiFi was only available upon request and was only free for 3 days. This is no longer up to date.Personally, I thought the weekend was just OK, but I wouldn't do it again. All in all, far too expensive for what is on offer.

Dear (K)rew, dear Jürgen,Thank you very much for a really wonderful weekend at the Rhönschafhotel!Everything is so lovingly designed...from the hallway to the rooms to the inn.A special highlight was the tasting in the orchard including the fairy tale...I never thought that the saying "3 days in Krenzers Rhön = 1 week vacation" would fit so well😃but it is true!The K(rew) is very attentive.....super nice....the rooms are sparkling clean!I have never found zero dust in any hotel...everything was extremely clean, even on the lamps and the fan in the bathroom!Big compliments to you.....so vacation is fun and you feel completely comfortable!You can tell that everyone puts their heart and soul into it and loves their work...Also to Jürgen and the kitchens K(rew)a huge compliment for the delicious food!The kitchen fight is a great idea....and between us.....if we had been at home, we would have licked the plates...everything was so delicious!😅We say THANK YOU and will come back!!!🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑

What a hidden treasure…When you travel through the remote area of northern Hessian (Rhön) you don’t expect straight away such a wonderful place.First of all, you can tell already by their website the team has a great hospitality and sense of humor. Very friendly and very welcoming also with our dog.The kitchen is modern traditional, but the most thing we did like all the apple wine and cider as well as especially the apple sherry tasting.One of the tastings is a must when you visit.We will come again!

Happy-Kadaver - new German for the Corpus Christi weekend at krenzers rhönConvincingly put together menus, inspiring service people, palate-pleasing taste and regional products. Nothing was missing.During the business tour with tastings and lots of funny stories as well as product name-defining stories like KRASS, SIGGI or BIRNOUT, everyone can see for themselves that Jürgen is completely behind his shop, the concept and his people - and those behind him. Even late at midnight, everything that had been lovingly prepared beforehand was still being cleared up behind us.Thank you for a relaxing, educational and tasty time.

Order in the web shop 7.5.24 - payment in advanceOnly upon request will a tracking no be given on May 13th, 2024Delivery on May 15, 2024, without prior consultation a different product was delivered than orderedPhone call May 15, 2024, the product was sold out, so a replacement product was deliveredWhen we were told that the web shop entry would then have to be corrected, nothing happened until May 29, 2024: Nothing! !Conclusion:Well-made web presentation, well-made web shop, but unfortunately it is not implemented professionally.Be careful when ordering products from the web shop!

Were there over the weekend (Sun-Tue) and stayed overnight in a shepherd's wagon. Very neat, everything perfectly clean. The shepherd's wagon sauna with wood stove is also worth an experience.The evening tasting with the special dishes (not run-of-the-mill) absolutely high-quality products that are produced with love and passion is totally noticeable.What particularly impressed us was the friendliness of all the employees from A to Z. You feel like you are a member of the family.A completely relaxed weekend.We'll definitely stop by again when we're nearby.Thank you for the nice hospitality!Holger & Anette

Today is the first day of the new year 2024 and we look back on a wonderful short vacation as a New Year's event in Krenzers Rhön. There is only good things to report :-). Above all, the wonderful TEAM, from the first minute of arrival until the end. Wonderful breakfast, great apple and sherry variations (my highlight: variations from the Islay cask), the fabulous wines, the rooms, and just the whole wonderful concept! Not to forget the big boss Jürgen with his heart, mind, passion and soul in everything he does there and constantly develops it. So much love, kindness and positive energy... it's amazing and exciting. Thanks again to EVERYONE on the team, it was just great.

“Wild for Wine” eventAs hoped, the Rhön welcomed us with snow and winter magic and the team or the (k)rew welcomed us in a friendly and professional manner.The parking situation was completely unproblematic despite winter conditions.Our room was very lovingly and harmoniously furnished in Rhönschaf style, the bathroom was spacious and modern.In general, you can see everywhere that the boss and (k)rew put their heart and soul into it. Rhön cosiness meets innovation or something like that.A highlight in the building ensemble is the apple sherry theater.I thought the location and the lavish tasting options were simply "crazy" good (you don't have to understand the pun without visiting Krenzers).The food - which we came for in particular - was convincing across the board.On Friday evening the huge pan and the cold buffet with all kinds of tasty dishes from the Rhön and of course the interesting game variations on Saturday proved to be delicious and plentiful, as hoped.If you didn't get enough here, you didn't notice the second helping ;-)The K40 beer, the SPÄT and the apple sherries were great!Of course we hiked too; The Birxgraben and the Rotes Moor are perfect for this.Conclusion: a wonderful weekend at the Krenzers

We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely come back. After we arrived we relaxed in the shepherd's wagon sauna, a fantastic start. In the evening a delicious meal from the buffet awaited us. After a cozy evening, equipped with a lamp, we were able to make our way across the orchard to our shepherd's wagon. The shepherd's wagon is small but nice and thanks to the cozy bed linen it's not too cold even in October. After a great breakfast with delicious and lots of regional products and a hike through the Rhön on the second day, we were looking forward to a 3-course menu and were not disappointed. We felt very comfortable, which we owe to the team and their great commitment.

We were given a voucher for our wedding and redeemed it at the beginning of September. It was such a lovely weekend. Jürgen Krenzer and his team have really created a little oasis here with great attention to detail. We spent the night in the shepherd's wagon, which was very comfortable and not an everyday occurrence :-) The food was very tasty and varied. In any case, the highlight was the tour through the cellar where the “apple herry” is made, including a tasting. Jürgen does it with complete passion and could really get you carried away. The Rhön itself is worth a hike. We hiked the red and black moor and were fascinated by the landscape. Overall, a great weekend in the Rhön and definitely a recommendation to spend a weekend here. If you don't like apples, then it will be difficult ;-)

An incredibly beautiful holiday experience. We stayed with 6 people, as a birthday present. The food is a dream, the non-alcoholic Secco makes every heart beat faster and the whole thing is just an incredibly beautiful experience. All individual requests are taken into account, vegan, gluten-free, no problem. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The design of the wine tasting/cherry tasting is unique and peppered with many anecdotes from the boss and the history of the company. The rooms are lovingly designed and even a dog is no problem.

Pretty hotel and a good starting point for trips to the Rhön.The only drawback of the location is the noise from passing vehicles, so sleeping with the window open is not really possible.The food is very tasty and there is always an option for vegetarians.The wine tasting not only offers delicious samples of our own products but also many funny stories. English-speaking guests will also be well entertained.The staff was always very nice and attentive.And if you want to take a holiday memory with you or bring something to your loved ones at home, you will find what you are looking for in the shop.
