With a small child and a dog, it's not that easy to find something else in a hurry, otherwise we would have fled as soon as we entered.I've never seen a hoarder vacation rental in my entire life and I'm wondering why???There's a table football table in the middle of the living room, covered with a garden tablecloth, with other games underneath, I haven't checked. There was a Christmas tree light under the stairs in the living room behind the TV cabinet. Behind the cupboards in the kitchen under the sloping ceiling was everything: water max, stirring rod, bread machine, drying towels, etc...Old rugs and bath mats stacked together in the bedrooms. Cloths were randomly pinned to the walls, I didn't look behind them, didn't want to know why...There was an empty tobacco container on one of the nightstands.The couch was full of all sorts of old little pillows...It goes without saying that it wasn't particularly clean either.The whole house is very noisy, I was busy at night making sure the dog didn't bark because the doors were slamming again.

When you entered the entrance area you were met with a very unpleasant smell. Old animal and smell of smoke. It was very dirty in the hallway. The dried-out aquarium also smelled very bad. The holiday apartment was filled with toys, a play table and all kinds of furniture, which were hung with tablecloths. Tea towels and towels looked dingy. I had to leave the house after an hour because I was afraid of needing an emergency doctor because I was experiencing shortness of breath. I then got my things out of there in no time and looked for a new place to live.

When you come into the guesthouse you immediately notice a musty smell... and the rooms aren't that nice either.... You should renovate the whole house and the outside..... ..and there is no breakfast either.........and the mattresses are too hard..The owners should really do something about the house......We know that we will never book this again. ......

Generally:We spent a cheap night in this small guesthouse while passing through. There are parking spaces directly behind the house and, in addition to some double rooms, there is also an apartment available for rent.Room:We were allowed to choose a double room on the first floor with a view of the terrace/parking lot behind the house and a beautiful view of the countryside. We took room number 2 and it was clean, reasonably sized and functionally furnished with a small seating area with a table. There is even a kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a very large TV.We recovered well and didn't miss anything.The smell in the small bathroom late in the evening/at night was a bit strange. It seemed as if a chimney or something similar was directing its exhaust air into here. Maybe there's something wrong with the ventilation. But with the door closed this didn't bother us in the room.Location:The guesthouse is located in the beautiful town of Gersfeld and is only a few minutes' walk from the old swimming pool (cascade) and the city center. Shops etc. can also be found nearby.Service:The owner was very friendly and the check-in with another gentleman went smoothly and very accommodating.

Apart from the strong smell of smoke, which probably dates back to earlier times, I was more than satisfied with the room. This could be improved by removing the old wallpaper, re-papering and painting.The entrance area is messy, yes, but I walk through it and it's fine. It's a simple and very cheap guesthouse! You shouldn't expect 5* luxury accommodation.Since I was on a hiking holiday and only used the room for showering and sleeping, that was completely sufficient for me.If you need something, just let us know.I would book again if I go to the area again.

When you enter the house, you find yourself in a cluttered and uncleaned walk-through room (a sweep would be great here). Past the stairs you come to a cloudy aquarium that hasn't been cleaned for a long time.There are older carpets in all rooms and hallways, with rugs or bath mats above them. The hallways are full of old upholstered chairs, tables and the like.Everything (including the window sills) is covered with brochures and Christian brochures that are very old.The room is small, the furniture is old but OK, the carpets are covered with bath runners. There were no sheets, only mattress protectors.There is a sink in the room.A door that doesn't close properly leads to a toilet and shower. Neither was up to date and the shower was not inviting to use.The rooms were not cleaned and the waste bins were not emptied during our stay.The barbecue area is a small area behind the house, a fireplace is made of stones and there are old folding chairs.

This guesthouse is horror. I had booked 3 days and escaped on the last night. He talked to 3 people with himself, shouted loudly and talked to God. It was too scary for me. The house is in bad condition and the garden cannot be used.
