I have traveled a lot around the world, but this hotel is unique. The friendliest, most helpful and warmest staff I have ever encountered works here. The familiar and cozy atmosphere and the nice conversations allow you to overlook even the small deficiencies. Yes, the hotel is getting old, but the charm of the many, differently furnished rooms, the bar with hanging chairs, the restaurant, the good cuisine and the STAFF make your stay a HOLIDAY. And that's why I'm here. Unfortunately the wellness area was closed, but I still received a wonderful massage. So almost everything is made possible.

We were very impressed by the unbeatable hospitality, there was probably a change a few weeks ago - can't say anything negative about the way we treated the guests - quite the opposite! The staff was exceptionally friendly. There was a bottle of champagne for our birthday, we ate incredibly well on two evenings, and the prices were really moderate. Our rooms were spacious (countryside and Asian impressions (?)) and the bathrooms were renovated. The breakfast was cheap and extensive. We hope that the pool will open again soon and that we can have similarly good experiences again. Thanks again!

The hotel is sad as you can see the decline. It is too large for the existing staff and does not receive the care it needs to maintain. The guardian angel room 50 urgently needs this for flushing the toilet and for the ceramics. The toilet paper got stuck on the urine stone tracks. The yellow-orange tiles probably come from the 70s.The lack of professionalism of the service in the restaurant requires a lot of leniency.It was already used up when we went to the leftovers from the breakfast buffet at 9 a.m. (7 a.m. to 10 a.m.). Reluctantly adding more rolls and hot water for tea. The rest you didn't even dare to ask. Tables were not cleared. A bleak event, but they advertise it with a fairytale breakfast. Wait - that wouldn't be until next Sunday. It's all a question of timing!

We had booked one night in a deluxe double room. Our first order of business was to repair flickering lamps, the bathroom was very run down and looked dingy, spider webs, stained sofa covers and mold in the fridge. We are very disappointed. It was not possible to make prior telephone contact to find out whether breakfast had been booked for days because no one answered the phone.

Although there are enough parking spaces, they are sometimes not enough. The toilet flushed, so the water kept running. But I was able to fix that temporarily and let you know at the information desk. There was a very strange smell in the room, which is why I had to open the stuck window. Some of the lamps in the room didn't work, which a look at small things suggests was unfortunately lost. The location is great, very centrally located. The bed in my room was very comfortable, which made the overnight stay very relaxing. The shower and bathroom were very clean, which is very important to me personally.Thank you for your hospitality.

Sobering experience over Easter 2024Unfortunately, our stay at the Landhotel Bad Zwesten over Easter deteriorated significantly compared to our previous visits. The food was a disappointment: the buffet was often empty, the quality was poor and it wasn't refilled. In addition, several rooms were infested with mold, which was not remedied. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired - dirty beds and rooms that were not cleaned properly were not uncommon. Holes in the furniture rounded off the negative picture. It's a shame because we've always been satisfied in the past. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the hotel in this condition.

Please pay attention! We arrived at 9:30 p.m. after a long journey and were told that there were no rooms available - despite the booking confirmation! The staff didn't even apologize or offer any help. Finally they walked away and left us at the reception.

Unreliable hotel that doesn't honor bookings. We booked in January and already paid in full. Now in May we received a message from the hotel that they "cannot accommodate us due to an alleged system change". They cannot be reached by phone (for us) and emails are not responded to. Reliability and professionalism are obviously not a priority at this hotel.

Danger!!! Not recommended!!! Impossible dealing with customers and no trust!!I have already booked a room for June 2024 at the end of November 2023. Now about a month before the trip, I received the following message: “Due to a system change, we have unfortunately overbooked your room. We definitely won't be able to accommodate you. We ask you to cancel the reservation or we hereby cancel your reservation. Please excuse the inconvenience."No alternative was suggested. There is a large trade fair nearby during this period and it can be assumed that customers who had booked a room well in advance with normal room prices are now canceling their bookings with the excuse that “there has been a change in the system”. becomes.This means the accommodation can give out rooms for three times the price. A system change was not proven, despite the demand.
