We were guests at the Hotel Bavaria from October 10th to October 18th, 2024 based on a recommendation from good friends from Isny.When we arrived, Ms. Schneider greeted us with a warm, friendly and humorous manner that almost overwhelmed us.She was extremely nice and yet not pushy.The formalities were completed quickly and we were given a short and concise (but still detailed and detailed enough) explanation of everything we needed.The Scneider family and their employees were there to help the whole time, but didn't impose themselves.The hotel is very quiet and you can really relax in the house.Coffee is free all day. The launch in the hallway invites you to socialize and read. There is PEACE in the relaxation room. The well-tempered indoor swimming pool is large enough. We can't say anything about the sauna because we are not sauna enthusiasts.All in all we can only recommend the hotel, the Schneider family and their employees.If you are on vacation in the Oberstaufen region, there is no way around the Hotel Bavaria

Price-performance ratio is absolutely not right!!! Totally overpriced hotel!! As a single, I paid the same amount per day, including breakfast, as two people would pay in a room including breakfast. Parking at the hotel costs €4.00 per day!Wellness area is not nice (only a sauna and an indoor pool) and terrace is not nice to sit on either. Lacks a restaurant and bar.I haven't had such a meager breakfast buffet in a long time! Very little choice. Baked rolls (confirmed by the staff!) that don't taste good at all! Then asked for bread, there wasn't any.Windows are as old as stone and there is a draft, and the heating doesn't get really warm either. The glass door of the shower cubicle is completely covered in lime drops. Not cleaned well! There is no cosmetic mirror in the bathroom and no storage function for shampoo bottles etc. in the shower, and no mineral water in the room. It's usually standard everywhere.On the positive side, the location is good. Unfortunately I had a room facing the street and the sound was very noisy because of the ancient windows.The bosses and staff are nice and the bed is comfortable.Conclusion: for this price as a solo traveler, I get much better hotels, with a nicer wellness area, with a nice terrace to sit on, with a bar and with a restaurant in Oberstaufen!!!

Lovingly family-run hotel. The owners are very warm and love dogs. Rooms are stylishly furnished. The location is ideal for excursions, whether hiking or strolling in various towns. The breakfast buffet is bomb👍🏻. There are regional fresh products, it couldn't be better. We would particularly like to praise the plastic-free selection. The Schneider family attaches great importance to sustainability, which is why everything is served in/on porcelain or glass plates/bowls. Free coffee and tea until 5 p.m. daily.

Always happy 🥰. After our rainy weekend last year, we got a great family room. Thank you very much again for that. My children were thrilled. Everything was very clean and furnished with a lot of love. I always look forward to breakfast. Many activities can be reached within a short time by car.

I spent a few days here again in the summer and was very satisfied. I particularly liked the breakfast with a varied and fresh selection - a perfect start to the day before setting off for a hike in the nearby mountains. Even when the weather is bad, you can spend time pleasantly in the hotel's sauna and swimming pool. Overall, I can only recommend the hotel!

Boss is very friendly and helpful. They even turn on the sauna upon request, even if you are alone or as a couple.Unfortunately the heating worked the first night. It was very cold in the room - but that was fixed on the second night.Breakfast buffet is very tasty with a large selection and fresh, delicious products

Our stay at Bavaria was relaxing and beautiful. The welcome was warm and we immediately received some information about things to do in and around Oberstaufen. The premium room met our expectations, the mattresses are comfortable. The hotel itself is a bit older, but has largely been harmoniously renovated and furnished. There are sufficient private parking spaces on site, but these are subject to a charge (4.00 euros per day). The Bavaria is on the outskirts of Oberstaufen, but you can reach the town center in 10 minutes on foot. Our tip: Eating at the Papst Alm is highly recommended! Reservation in the evening is mandatory.

Unfortunately a few drawbacks: holes in the walls; Constantly asking at the breakfast buffet whether everything is enough (instead of making the buffet lavish); not enough parking spaces available; The previous person's hair on the room floor, parking costs (extra without announcing it beforehand), ... . All in all, recommended!

Very nice, well-kept hotel located on the outskirts of Oberstaufen (fields right on the doorstep - great with a dog) and yet close to the city center (10-15 minutes on foot). Very friendly owner family and family atmosphere, as the hotel is not too big 😀 The swimming pool and the wellness area are also well maintained and pleasantly warm. Despite booking at very short notice, we had a beautiful, large room with access to the terrace and even a special price because we booked directly through the hotel and not through a third party 👍🏼 The breakfast was also very tasty and you have the choice between the terrace and indoor area. All in all, our stay was very relaxing and we would book the hotel again and again for a stay in Oberstaufen - clear recommendation! 👍🏼
