I was in Lindau for two days on business in May 2024, where an event was taking place in the Inselhalle. The location of the hotel was ideal. My room was clean and had its own shower cubicle and toilet, although the furniture was a bit older. For the price you really can't expect anything better. The receptionist was always friendly and brought my hairdryer and iron to my room at the agreed time. Anything goes =)I didn't use the breakfast, but the only small limitation was the internet connection, which was a bit weak... Nevertheless, I will book a room there again for the 3D Forum 2025.Overall, a recommended place to stay!

I was there with my two small dogs and was very satisfied. In some of the other reviews I wondered whether the gentlemen could tell the difference between a bed and breakfast hotel and a luxury resort.The staff was super friendly, the breakfast buffet was of course not 3 meters long, but offered absolutely enough choice. Because of the dogs, I sat down with my breakfast in the lounge so that no guest would feel disturbed, but I didn't have to.The mattress on the bed was great and I can't report on a bathroom that was so small that you could hardly turn around. It wasn't huge, but, see above, perhaps the luxury resort was in mind.The location is great and you can go anywhere you want to go in Lindau in no time. The seagull can't do anything for the pub or whatever the nightlife spot around the corner was and it was only a little louder on Saturday evening - young people. Two pieces of ear plugs do wonders :-)

Hotel Mövi Garni is a great small hotel if you are traveling to the South of Europe. Rooms are small and somewhat dated. The beds are fine, although the pillows were too soft for my taste. Breakfast is simple, but otherwise little to complain about. The service is good. We were called before our arrival whether we would make it to the reception closing time. If not, we received a message with an access code. Fine. People are friendly. Location is a bit difficult to reach, which is perhaps the biggest negative point.If you come by car, reserve one of the hotel's two parking spaces.

Very nice staff, the building is temporary so the rooms are small but clean, great location, we managed to get a parking lot on the property. The breakfast was modest but tasty and fresh. I highly recommend this place.

The staff is very friendly, the location is great.Parking is a problem throughout Lindau, so you should arrive at the train station, Lindau Island, which is 500m away.The breakfast is very minimalistic, only cold except boiled eggs. But the price is very fair, only boring after the 3rd day as there is no variance.The room prices are ok. The furniture is new and very well maintained, but the bathroom is very, very small and the shower tray entrance is very high.The curtains are not suitable for darkening the room, but window insulation for noise is great.The only thing I can't say is positive about the floor covering in the room, you inevitably wake up your roommate because it's getting very old. Wooden floor.

The hotel/pension is centrally located. The standard is appropriate. Inexpensive. Nice staff.The bathroom is very small. There is little parking space.

Good value for money for the island of Lindau. We came with 2 motorcycles, which we were able to park directly in the yard. Furniture is a bit older, but a good mattress is the most important thing for me when it comes to sleeping. Thank you and gladly again.

All in all, my wife and I had a lovely week there. The rooms are of course a bit old-fashioned (but that's also because the building is very old). The bathroom is a bit small, but serves its purpose. I would particularly like to highlight the service, friendliness and courteousness of housekeeper Sergio Ruiz. Available at any time, incredibly personable and fulfills every wish immediately. For that reason alone, we will definitely come back. Thank you very much for the pleasant week.

If you want hairy sheets, cobwebs in every corner, uncleaned bathrooms from the Cold War era or dirty walls for €100 a night, I can highly recommend the hotel. The only thing missing here is that rats are crawling out of the walls in this crypt.

The “hotel” is getting very old! The bathrooms (we changed rooms) are from the 70s, very small, shower hose broken (in both rooms!) Furniture overall from the 80s! Unfashionable and musty. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired!! The traffic-calmed location refers to the street directly in front of the hotel, on the wall. Behind the wall, also directly in front of the hotel, is a main street with through traffic, including large buses and trucks! No peace in the early morning, impossible to sleep with the windows open. The second room, towards the back, has even more noise pollution from very loud revelers from a bar below the side of the house. Sleeping is only possible from 3:30 a.m.!!! Even with the windows closed. The television in one room was mounted on the side behind the bed. The breakfast was OK but not outstanding, coffee and bread/rolls were delicious. No variety in egg dishes, sausage, cheese…The rooms have not been cleaned sufficiently, the carpeting smells musty.The location is excellent, you could make a treasure out of the hotel!!The owners are aware of the shortcomings, but they “smile them off” - I can't recommend an overnight stay in good conscience!! From my point of view it is purely an overnight accommodation, not a holiday feeling! Stay the night, somehow get ready in the mini bathroom and leave the house for the day after breakfast!!A disaster in rainy weather 😑No comfort, no fridge in the room and absolutely uncomfortable. An outdated hotel from the 70s / 80s that nothing is being made of. Even being friendly is of no use! The reception is hardly staffed at all! The owners seem listless and unwilling to change anything!!! Lindau and Lake Constance are worth a vacation, but not in this accommodation!

It was one of the worst hotels I've encountered in Lindau.The toilet flushed constantly and no one felt responsible. I stayed there for two weeks, during which time the room wasn't even cleaned. There was hardly any internet. It was cruel
