I can only highly recommend the Hotel Jagdhof. The entire team is very nice and I think the motto “the guest is king” is still lived here. The ladies at the reception are always open to suggestions and sometimes even a little grief 😉The food is excellent and there is always an excellent selection, so there should actually be something for everyone and even if I didn't need it, I think that special requests can also be implemented to a certain extent. There is also a special menu for children and the salad buffet basically leaves nothing to be desired.We were there with a small child and were given a suite with enough space for everyone. A travel cot was available (beautifully decorated at reception), so we didn't have to bring anything with us. There was a diaper pail in the room, which also kept the smells hidden. 😉With the Walsercard provided by the hotel, we were able to take a nice trip to the Kanzelwand, where part (water path) of the Burmi Trail is located, a great experience for children with puzzles to solve. 😊 You can also get brochures and information about the Burmi Trail from the lovely ladies at reception. There are also some recommended restaurants and cafés in the area and the surrounding area, and the hotel also has a very tasty cake buffet in the afternoon.As a farewell there will be a little surprise for young and old. 🥰All in all, I can only recommend the hotel and the Kleinwalsertal.

There were 7 women and we had 2 wonderful days in the hotel and the region. Arrived and immediately felt comfortable. Manu at the reception was very friendly, as were all the staff throughout the hotel. Service at breakfast and dinner was just perfect. Attentive and very friendly. When it comes to food, absolutely nothing is left to be desired. Great coffee and cake offer in the afternoon. If you have any questions or requests you will be happy to help. The rooms were very clean and relatively large and bright.The wellness area was also clean and the water temperature in the pool was pleasant. The only thing to note is that there are relatively few loungers available in the pool area.We were all completely satisfied and will definitely visit the hotel again.

Light and shadowWe stayed at the Jagdhof for the third time in March, as we were very satisfied with our previous two visits.We booked our first visit at Christmas 2022 with our daughter and her family at very short notice and still received a very nice, newly renovated room. We were very satisfied with the beautiful room, the really excellent food and the friendliness of the staff. The massage we booked was also excellent. Only the wellness area is a bit narrow and there are hardly any places to lie down.We made the reservation for our second stay at Christmas 2023 very early. This time we traveled with friends. Service and food were again very good. Our rooms, although the same category, were not quite as good as the first time. Our bathroom was very small and there was little space to store your clothes. Especially in the winter, a lot of jackets accumulate that are sometimes wet and can't be stored anywhere. Our friends' room wasn't very good either. There were also children in the wellness area, which shouldn't be the case. Overall, staff should check more often and remove empty cups and used towels. We pointed this out at reception. Unfortunately it was the same on our third visit!Although there were a few little things that bothered us, we stayed at the Jagdhof for three nights in March. This time we had an unrenovated room in the annex which was ok but the lighting in the bathroom was very poor. Since a lamp had also failed, I informed the reception straight away in the morning and I assumed that the small defect would be fixed by the evening, but unfortunately this was not the case that day or the next. When I pointed this out when I left, I was told that the caretaker was not there and therefore the lamp could not be replaced. Luckily not all the lights were out, we would probably have had to stay in the dark.Overall, it can be said that the quality of the food during our last stay was nowhere near as good as on previous dates and that at a much higher price.You should also know that the rooms, even in the same category, are very different, both in terms of location and size; better differentiation should take place here.We hope everything will be great on your next visit!

Very centrally located in the Kleinwalsertal, the Jagdhof is ideal for starting hikes. The wellness offer rounds off every day of your vacation perfectly. However, the very nice stay is topped by the kitchen. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner... lovingly prepared, high-quality ingredients, sensational taste. We'd love to come back

Family with one child and our small dogWe were here for three days, from Friday to Monday at the beginning of August.Location / reception:The hotel consists of two buildings separated by a narrow side street, the buildings are connected underground with a corridor. There is a bus stop directly below the hotel and smaller shops on the main street are within walking distance, such as bakeries, cafés, restaurants or a supermarket. The reception at the reception was friendly, brief and factual. The restaurant is located in the main building. The pool is located in the annex. There is also an underground car park in the adjacent building. There are free parking spaces along the side street and behind the main building the underground car park is subject to a charge.Pool:The indoor pool is large enough, the water is at a pleasant temperature, but there are few loungers available. The air in the indoor pool is a bit unpleasant. It can get loud when children are playing.There are too few loungers available because a family with two children can take up a total of four loungers. The outdoor pool is small and there are only thirteen loungers in the outdoor area, which is actually not enough.During our stay there were only German guests in the hotel, two families with small children but mostly older guests or families with older children.The location of the hotel is perfect. The room should be renovated. The meals were excellent. The pool is big enough if there aren't many guests in the hotel or in the water otherwise it gets loud and crowded.Staff:The staff in the restaurant and at the bar are very helpful, pleasantly friendly and committed. The staff at the reception is objectively friendly.Conclusion:We would be happy to come back and can fully recommend the hotel for older guests or for families with older, young children, for families with smaller children it is not so suitable.
