We stayed at the hotel for 7 days in August. It was a very nice vacation all around. The hotel is great, the service is excellent. The room was very clean and modernly furnished. The breakfast buffet was very rich and left nothing to be desired. The location is great, especially quiet, but you can quickly get to the city center and the harbor. The bus connection is very good, so you can leave your car behind. You can recommend the Hitel with a clear conscience.

The Hotel Fischerhaus Garni is located on the northern outskirts of Meersburg, directly on the lake. A main road runs between the lake and the hotel, and the ferry pier for the Meersburg - Konstanz ferry is within sight. The hotel has its own large parking lot, so you can leave your car there for the duration of your vacation if you want.Depending on the room you choose, you have a direct or side view of the lake. A few rooms do not have a balcony. These rooms are also slightly smaller. All rooms are well-equipped and have a flat-screen TV and a small safe. We have been to this hotel several times and can say that we slept well in the sufficiently wide beds. You can of course hear the traffic on the main street and the ferries arriving and departing, more or less clearly depending on the location of the room. It never bothered us, especially since ferry traffic is significantly reduced at night, as is road traffic.The hotel has a large breakfast room with enough tables for each guest. A rich breakfast buffet is offered: various types of sausage and cheese, various jams, muesli, various rolls and breads, fruit, cucumber slices and tomatoes, etc., coffee with and without caffeine, teas, and if you want, you can use the coffee machine serve various types of coffee. If you don't get enough, you can't be helped. You can also use a freely accessible refrigerator at any time, which contains all sorts of cold drinks for a fee, with and without alcohol. You simply write down the drinks you took on a piece of paper with your room number, attach it to a magnetic board and then pay later. The hotel does not offer dinner. The city of Meersburg offers countless restaurants, cafés, etc. both in the lower town, especially on the lakeshore, and in the upper town. So you don't have to starve.The room cleaning is thorough and the staff is friendly. It was often the case that the room was already prepared after breakfast. But it's not the rule.The hotel is located directly on the lake, separated only by a street. It is only a few minutes' walk to the town of Meersburg or the lower town along the lake and past the ferry pier. There are vineyards to the left and right of the hotel. There is a bus stop near the ferry pier, from where you can go in practically all directions. Excursion destinations, which are numerous, can therefore also be easily reached by bus, ferry or scheduled boat. The harbor for the scheduled ships is at the southern end of the lower town.I can only highly recommend this hotel.

The Fischerhaus was always worth a trip for us, which is why we spent a very nice holiday here for the 6th time in a cozy atmosphere. Very nice welcome from Mr. Schlichte. The house and the rooms are very tastefully and lovingly furnished. The entire team is very quick, friendly and careful and a lot of emphasis is placed on cleanliness.The breakfast offering is very varied and extensive. During the day, guests have access to a coffee machine and chilled drinks for a small fee. The breakfast room is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. P

We were guests at the Fischerhaus in August and had a lake view room. The room we booked was fine - the bathroom was small. The mattresses were very good. You should think about air conditioning. The breakfast offered was sufficient and good - but always the same. It could be a change - for example Camembert or cream cheese.Guests would also be happy about the offer of fried or scrambled eggs.In conclusion, the hotel is definitely recommended.

We were guests in the Fischerhaus for 11 nights and can definitely recommend it! The rooms were clean and well maintained. The entire staff was always friendly and accommodating. Mr. Schlichte was always open to questions from guests and suggestions/suggestions for leisure activities! Which was also very helpful given the options! There was also a refrigerator in the house for guests and you could buy cold drinks cheaply. The proximity to the city of Meersburg was ideal, you could be in the city within about 10 minutes. With the guest card we were able to use all public transport. A free, hotel-owned parking space was also available! The view of Lake Constance and the Alps was unique! We spent very nice days in the Fischerhaus and will be back next year!!!

We had very nice days at the Hotel Fischerhaus. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are clean and nice. We had a room with a direct lake view. There is a separate house with sufficient charging facilities for the bicycles. Location is optimal. The host always has an open ear for his guests. Just a few minutes walk to the center

We have been guests at the Fischerhaus for many years and spend a week there almost every year. We really appreciate the friendliness of the host and his staff, the well-furnished, clean rooms with modern bathrooms and the varied breakfast. Don't forget the selection of chilled drinks! And the guest parking space directly at the house. We really like the location on the lake, the proximity to the ferry to Konstanz, the Überlingen-Friedrichshafen bus line and the old town of Meersburg. We enjoy watching the ferries come and go and the view of the vineyards and lake - we'll be back. And again. And again...

We were here on site for eight days. We can only recommend the hotel. The staff and the owner are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are very nice and modern, the cleaning staff does a great job. The location is also just great, only 400 meters to the ferry and 800 meters to the old town. The breakfast and service leave nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back.

Great breakfast and very fair prices for chilled drinks are further amenities. We'd love to come back.

We were there for the first time.The hotel consists of two buildings.The front with the wide balconies and the rear.We had booked a room with a lake view and assumed that it was the front building where the breakfast room was locatedUnfortunately we ended up behind, which is no disadvantage☝️The ferries leave directly in front of the front house and can be clearly heard there.The room was very clean and spacious with a small balcony facing the lake.It gets very warm during the day and there is no air conditioning. In the evening we simply opened the bathroom window and the side window of the room, and it was nice and cool and quiet to sleep.Breakfast was perfectly fine, coffee was served at the table.If you want some from the vending machine, crema etc., they can be delivered to you too.The bicycle room is lockable with compartments for utensils. Parking spaces at the house “free!”Bus stop at the ferry port, about 3 minutes on foot.Be sure to use it, it's free with a guest card.To Friedrichshafen by bus, then by train to Lindau and Bregenz. Different direction, look at Überlingen, Konstanz anyway.Lake Constance ticket can be purchased extra for 2 people, 105€/3 days.Then you can get to the Rhine Falls in Switzerland for free and the car ferries are also free. Otherwise 14€, including bike and2p/return to wages.The host of the house is very nice.

The hotel is characterized by a top location, a breathtaking view and a very, very nice and attentive host. We enjoyed our time in this wonderful inn.Very clean, the rooms are nice and big - but the bathroom is rather small.The breakfast was very, very good and had something for everyone. I personally liked the selection of rolls and the fresh vegetables/fruit with the yoghurt.Not to forget the multivitamin shot you got for breakfast, really great.Cheers to the decaffeinated ☕️ which is also offered here.The hotel also offers drinks for a really fair price.

We spent 7 nights in the fisherman's house. Everything was fine. Very friendly employees and boss. Rich breakfast. Nice and clean rooms. Ideal location with beautiful views. There is a star deduction for payment: only German EC and credit cards are accepted. If you don't have this because from another country you can only pay in cash. There's a little feeling of not being wanted that creeps in. This spoils the good impression a bit. A pity ...

We stayed at the Hotel Fischerhaus for a few days when the tulips were in bloom on the island of Mainau and we think we couldn't have chosen a better place: great location right on the lake, nice room and balcony with a wonderful view of the lake towards the Alps, a breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired and a friendly, personal service. The room was well equipped - comfortable bed, large TV, balcony with a lake view. Everything was very clean, although the water in the shower took a while to warm up.The service is extremely friendly and accommodating.The hotel is not directly in Meersburg. It's a 5-minute walk to the promenade, there's free parking and you're away from tourism.Gladly again!!
