Absolutely recommended! 👍Super clean! Friendly staff! This cozy hotel absolutely has its own style! You could say its own charm. We travel a lot and therefore have some “hotel experience”. We moved into the “Romantic Suite” which offers a wonderful view of Lake Hopfensee. You can even see Neuschwanstein Castle in the distance.The room is very spacious and offers everything you need to feel comfortable. Luckily and to our surprise, the bathroom and toilet are separate in the room! The balcony offers space for a four-man party 😉The ambience and location are great!! In the evening you can really enjoy absolute peace here.The only negative was the price.

We didn't stay there ourselves, but we stayed nearby and visited there several times. We found the rooms and the hotel itself very nice (maybe some flowers were missing on the balcony like in the other houses) and the location with the view from the balconies is of course fantastic!!!However, every time we visited we had the feeling of being looked at strangely - even when we once ordered a drink at the bar - and once we were even loudly and aggressively accused of having (falsely) been in the toilet there from outside, and that on on the open road in front of the other guests. Actually a shame... it's a shame for the otherwise pretty house to have such staff/owners.

It was okay for me to travel through.The reception was unfriendly, rather annoyed, I actually wanted to ask something else, but was dealt with quickly.The breakfast room was cold and even though it was empty, I wasn't allowed to sit by the window.The dishes were not labeled, which I personally found difficult. Since there was no music playing and no one was talking, the humming of the devices was very loud.I was offered coffee, which was very nice - I later found out that there was also a latte macchiato, which I would have preferred.It was clean and of course the location is perfect for vacationers.

Great hotel, good location right on the lake and we even got an upgrade to a room with a lake view. Everything is modern and very clean. The service was courteous and friendly. We'll be back!

We really liked the Hotel "Fischer am See" in Hopfen. The room was very nice, the service was very good - everyone was very friendly - the hotel is located on the Uferstrasse, almost directly on the lake.

Beautiful rooms with terrace and direct lake view and lake access. Food and service are okay. Underground car park with bicycle storage and charging facility for e-bikes.

We were there for dinner. After a really unfriendly and unwelcoming reception, we received our food 10 minutes after ordering. The meat wasn't cooked through. We returned it and they actually threw the meat back into the deep fryer and finished “frying” it.I would have liked to have gotten a new one there.There is also no trace of goodwill (no discount etc.)I'm still waiting for an apology from the restaurant today.

Very nice location right on the Hopfensee, we had a great, large, modern and yet regionally furnished room with a large bathroom and a wonderful balcony with a view of the lake.A delicious breakfast rounded off our 1 night stay.You can swim directly in the lake, the water sports equipment rental is just 1 minute away, and there are various restaurants within walking distance.The only thing that was a shame was the pillow, which was too small and too flat, but everyone sees that differently. The high-quality, rather hard mattress was ideal for my back.

A nice hotel located on Lake Hopfensee, friendly welcome and nice personal conversation. The room was great facing the lake with a view of the Allgäu Alps and a nice, large terraceThe food was plentiful and very good. Breakfast too. There is also an underground car park. We were only there for a short time but I think a nice place to stay longer.

Unfortunately the room was very carelessly furnished.Single bed very uncomfortable.No drinks available after 8 p.m. Restaurant already closed.Breakfast at 8 a.m. very clear, 4 slices of bacon still available.Problem with invoicing. The boss is not there and no one is able to change this. Reception not manned in the morning. Put off 3 times. Nobody knew when someone competent would be present.Very difficult for business travelers.

Very reassuringly pleasant staff, were there over New Year's Eve. Boss made it possible to get a room. Normally it was fully booked.

Rooms completely outdated. Dinner overpriced and little. Curtains that don't completely cover, so no privacy. Light bulbs in the bathroom broken and sometimes dangerous for children. Breakfast so-so (only the bare essentials). The positive thing was the underground car park and the view.
