An outdated hotel. The hotel was sold a few years ago and nothing was invested in the equipment afterwards. Uncomfortable mattresses, pillows filled with synthetic fiber, carpeted floors, no insulated windows. This makes it very noisy from the street and the radiators are difficult to control. This caused a lot of heat in the bathroom and room. On the third evening there was no more hot water. No staff there to address it. Small menu in the restaurant with simple dishes, a bit too expensive.A power to make breakfast. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Hotel staff can only be reached by telephone from 3 p.m. Checking out means simply putting the key somewhere.

I'm trying to sleep right now, it's almost impossible because the blind box is basically open in the frame above the window, it's loud. The windows are, I think, easily 30-40 years old, something urgently needs to be done. The service was Nice, but unfortunately the dinner left a lot to be desired.I'm sorry to have to write something like that.

Room and bathroom clean. Balcony without separation from rooms next door.Dinner was good. There weren't three drinks on the menu. Something strange.Breakfast was okay, but the service was poor for long periods of time. No other coffee than from a large pot.Checking out means placing the key at the reception and hoping that someone will take it at some point. The restaurant was pretty deserted.

We were at Hirschen two years ago when we hiked the Schluchtensteig, and the service and breakfast were much better back then. The room furnishings are very old, but of course it has its charm. Unfortunately the bathroom wasn't completely clean and there was mold in the shower. Which isn't surprising since the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work. We were particularly disappointed with the breakfast. The rolls were rock hard and obviously not fresh. The cheese on display must have been there for a long time when we got to the breakfast room and we were there at the earliest possible time. The finished yogurt also had bloated lids. The general selection at breakfast was quite good, but the quality was really not particularly good. When we checked out we stood in front of two employees who couldn't speak a word of German and we had to communicate using Google Translate. Unfortunately, the ladies couldn't tell us why we weren't getting any Konus cards. We actually wouldn't come again for the price. Very unfortunate.

Delicious food and nice, quick service 🥰 we came in after a long walk and asked when the kitchen opens, with a huge smile we were told "now". Food was great and arrived quickly. Everything perfect. Thank you very much 😁

I choose this hotel because it is cheap and it is half an hour by car from the Rein's waterfall (my final destination).|There is a free parking in the backside.|The room was wide, enough clean, with old furniture, the shower has a curtain.|Breakfast was a positive surprise.

We stayed there for one night and were satisfied. Rooms are a bit old, but were clean and big enough. The bed was comfortable, so we were able to continue hiking the next day feeling well rested.

Rooms are getting old. Reception by a student who was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was closed, even though we had been explicitly confirmed that it was open and had reserved a table for us :-(.Far too expensive for what is on offer.

In the evening there is only a buffet, it's not for everyone and it's nothing special.Breakfast is a medium disaster. From the roll to sausage, cheese, etc., very poor.The price-performance ratio is unreasonable. The rooms with breakfast are very expensive at least 150 euros, but they don't offer much.

Located directly on the Schluchtensteig. Rooms are getting old with carpeted floors, not conducive to the indoor climate. Balcony has no demarcation from the neighboring room balcony. Rooms facing the street are a bit noisy and ventilation is only possible to a limited extent. Cleanliness was good, but I got a really bad pillow (lumpy). Breakfast completely fine.

Directly on the Schluchtensteig.Not a very special accommodation. For dinner there was only a buffet that was too expensive (€29.80) and no cheap alternative for smaller appetites.We recommend the kebab snack bar 500m up the street.Price-performance ratio wasn't quite right.

The hotel is centrally located in Blumberg on the main street. The premises are cozy, stylish. It has two halls for a company. The food is quite. The advantage for hungry people is that they can eat from the buffet several times for the same price, otherwise a self-service plate for €29 would be far too expensive. The wine was good.

A very warm hotel that is ideal as day accommodation for hikes. You feel very welcome, everything is lovingly furnished and the service is really great! The food in the restaurant is simple but ok. But the breakfast buffet is even better 👍

Simple hotel with renovation backlog.Pretty old room furnishings, it was too expensive for that.On the evening we had to have a buffet meal without being informed of this when we reserved the table.Food very average, 28 euros is too expensive. Potential for improvement, but the owner has only been running the hotel for a week.The breakfast was very good.

Reception, service, cleanliness, reservation, payment were flawless, but I don't think that's everything that makes a hotel stay. The rooms are old and simple.It is clean. The beds are mediocre. I don't know what impression you wanted to leave with the neglected balcony? The invitation to participate in the dinner/buffet was convenient for us. The food was a horror for my taste buds. There were dishes that you would happily leave behind on your plate. The drinks weren't any better. Warm beer and wine, leave it alone. In hindsight, I would have liked to have eaten somewhere else. The breakfast was primitive.
