Ideal for exploring Switzerland from here. 15 to Basel, 1 hour to Zurich. 45 minutes to the Rhine waterfalls.

I am absolutely satisfied and happy here. I have never experienced such hospitality. All employees are incredibly nice. I would even give it 6 stars just because of the food, it was just fantastic.The rooms are also modernly furnished and spotlessly clean.Thank you for allowing me to be your guest, I will definitely come back here!

We chose the hotel for an overnight stay because of its good location. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy, you can hear every single word if someone speaks in the hallway. It wasn't a restful night for us. Absolutely everything was missing in the kitchen, but the nice lady provided us with everything upon request. The breakfast was good and the room was clean, hence 3 stars.

We booked a three-bed room when we were traveling through Italy. This room was clean and nicely decorated. Check-in was totally uncomplicated. The gentleman at reception welcomed us very friendly. Breakfast was rich and fresh.We can only recommend this hotel. When we go back we will stay at this hotel again.

Very nice rooms with a small kitchen and nice bathroom, everything very modern, very friendly people and close to the train station and supermarkets are not far away. I was very satisfied there.

This was the third time in 2 years that we stayed here for 1 night in a family room.There are enough parking spaces.The hotel is right next to the train station - but it didn't bother us.The first visit was super good. The room, the reception, the breakfast, everything was really good.Now we unfortunately have to say that things have slowed down a bit. We were again in a great and large family room, but the two TVs didn't work and none of the 2 double beds had a lamp on the bed. Unfortunately there is also no light switch for the large light. No one was available at the reception at 8 p.m., even though it was supposed to be staffed longer.The reception on the third stay was quite unfriendly, but on the other two stays it was very, very nice.The two kitchen ladies tried hard, but the rolls were really bad on the second and third stay.The grain roll was so dry that it felt like it was getting bigger when you chewed it and the normal rolls are baked rolls (at least on Saturdays and so on). There were open bakeries right around the corner.But for our purposes it was completely sufficient.

The rooms are all very spacious and clean. Room service is there every day, but somehow I never see it...There is a small kitchenette with the most necessary things (cutlery, pots, plates, pans, etc.) to take care of yourself after shopping.Grenzach-Wyhlen is just a village...

55 group customers (divided into 30 rooms) coming from the Travel Agency for which I work arrived at the ZUM ZIEL hotel at 8.00 pm on Friday 08 December 2023. The group had to stay 2 nights in 2 half board with a total prepayment already ' carried out equal to 12,420 Euros. Upon arrival we did not find any rooms available (even though our telephone contacts were updated 20 minutes before our arrival, always with our contact person AFRIM BAHNHOLZER who immediately became unavailable from that moment onwards). We were divided into 2 hotels 20 km apart from each other, and dinner was held at a Chinese restaurant. A disaster: complaints from our Italian customers, threats of complaints to our travel agency, to which are added the consequences relating to the travel of the tour. Irony of fate. The Zum Ziel hotel (already full with other customers) also gained on the other 2 hotels reserved for us as they were of a lower category. And then abroad, we Italians are the ones who have the reputation of being dishonest. We have suffered a scam, and have already filed a complaint with the competent authorities. I hope I have been useful to some fellow travel agents. The star inserted is to make the review visible.

We had a nice large room with a shower room and kitchenette. The train station is a few minutes' walk away and you can go to Basel every hour. Several restaurants nearby and a good ice cream parlor. Schlotzeria! Breakfast was also extensive.

Very clean and tidy hotel. Nice room. Check in was perfectly organized with a safe with key outside. You will receive a message explaining how it works and can therefore check in at any time. Breakfast also good. Nice transit hotel.
