Room ok, but very old. However, way too overpriced. Breakfast was the most miserable breakfast I have ever had

I recently stayed at this charming, family-run hotel and had a delightful experience. The atmosphere is cozy. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it is decent and satisfactory. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay in a lovely setting.

Nice little accommodation. Good breakfast - cereal and rolls, some vegetables - completely sufficient :)Completely solid for one night.

Unfortunately the room wasn't really clean. The bathroom in particular was very dirty. A very outdated hotel. The breakfast was okay and there was a bit of everything. Okay for one night if you don't have high expectations.

When I arrived I wasn't noticed at first and didn't feel welcome. They gave me the room key and said my room was on the first floor and then let me go up alone. The room itself looked like it was in need of renovation and wasn't particularly clean, the breakfast was quite ok and considering the location it was also acceptable

A short vacation that would have been rather dreary without the sunny disposition of me and my companion.Room: size OK, bed linen and towels clean. The rest of the room... lots of cobwebs in the room, bathroom & on the balcony, spots on the wall in places. You can see that at some point other pictures were hanging because there are still edges of dust.I once went out on the balcony with white socks and they were black...really black. When the beds were pushed apart, an old gummy bear was stuck to the floor. It was removed the next day, but not wiped off. There was a chocolate wrapper on the balcony.Breakfast: Sufficient selection, but poorly presented and obviously products from discounters. No good morning from the staff, no asking if everything was okay.Staff: you get the feeling that you are not “welcome”, there is little communication, we complained that the room wasn't cleaned one day. There was no apology and no “improvement”Garden: such a beautiful big garden and so neglected... a real shame. For a price of €155/night in a double room, I would have expected more. Conclusion:It's a shame about the actually beautifully located hotel with huge potential. Then it's also close to the lake, with a 10-minute walk to the lake, train station and old town. Too bad, too bad, too bad

A lot of money for little service and performance! If a hotel is booked for a short trip in this class, you obviously can't ask for much. However, you can ask for a friendly demeanor from the staff as well as a clean environment. Both are definitely not the case here. The staff seems rather annoyed and driven to work. The rooms are spacious, but absolutely not maintained. We found a now fossilized gummy bear under a bed, and the balcony table was so dirty that we had to clean it first. There are large, old cobwebs hanging everywhere in the room and on the balcony, and here too the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Our balcony was at the back towards the garden, here you have a wonderful view of bushes and a system that is desperately crying out for care. The breakfast is just as carelessly prepared as the rest of the hotel. You can expect a good morning from the annoyed staff looking after fresh plates for free. If you love scrambled eggs for breakfast, you can enjoy them cold. All in all, the offer is an absolute disgrace for this price. One day our room wouldn't be cleaned at all. There was no apology or discount here. Arguing with the staff here would probably have been pointless.

We spent one night at the Hotel Seerose and it was fine. The room was large, but the bed was quite small. The sofa is getting quite old and needs to be replaced. The bathroom made a good first impression as it was recently renovated. However, it wasn't that clean. The gentleman at reception, I think the boss, seemed a bit harsh but friendly.Unfortunately he wasn't very well informed about the Lake Constance ticket, for example. False information was transmitted here. The breakfast wasn't that special - but sufficient. There are no vegan options. The check-in and check-out times are unusual... check-in from 4 p.m., check-out by 10 a.m.Value for money could be better for me.One night in a double room, 2 people (weekend, beginning of July, booked two months earlier) including breakfast cost €140.Parking spaces available directly in front of the hotel.Card payment possible.
