We went to the Tanne restaurant for breakfast/brunch. It was very tasty and left nothing to be desired. The service was top notch. We will definitely come back and recommend it wholeheartedly 🫶🏻

Transit hotel on the Swiss border just before Basel, just a quiet kitchen, excellent breakfast for 7 euros, more than sufficient, ideal for a night and then on to Italy or the Black Forest

We were there on a bus for the Sunday breakfast buffet because our other hotel didn't have breakfast. Mega tasty and varied, we kept refilling. Everyone very friendly.

We stayed here overnight on our return trip. Remote, quiet country hotel. Very nice, well maintained and clean. Nicely renovated room. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very good and the dinner a la carte was very tasty. Good value for money. The hotel is a good alternative to the city hotels in Weil and Lörrach. We will come back.

Nice little hotel with renovated rooms. Unfortunately the bathroom got stuck in the 1980s.The breakfast for €7.50 was totally fine and we also had a good meal in the restaurant in the evening.The service was attentive and friendly.

I recently went to the Landhotel & Restaurant Tanne restaurant and unfortunately I have to say that it was a very disappointing experience. We decided to come just to eat and chose the shrimp salad as a starter. Unfortunately, the salad was absolutely overloaded with balsamic vinegar, which completely masked the taste of the fresh ingredients. The shrimp was hard to taste and the entire appetizer was a total failure.After this bad start we decided to pay immediately after the salad and leave the restaurant as we couldn't imagine that the main course would be much better. If the starter is so disappointing, you can't expect much from the rest of the menu. It's a shame that a restaurant in such a beautiful location has so little to offer in terms of cuisine.

Small, cozy rooms with everything you need. Breakfast buffet has everything your heart desires, especially fresh warm rolls every morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back

Booked for our return journey. We used room 42, a very hot sweat room where you could only circulate the warm air with a fan. The curtain is more for decoration than to block light. The 2 double beds were so rickety that with every slight movement you could hear a huge creak. Next year we will look for another location because this will never happen again.

Located just before the Swiss border, the hotel is of course a good option in terms of price. You're happy to pay 50% more for something comparable in and around Basel. This was the reason for my stopover. Basically everything was okay, the single room (room 17) was big enough, the bed was fine. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom could have been a little better; they were cleaned superficially instead of thoroughly. I wouldn't have deducted two stars for this if it hadn't been for the really pungent sewer smell in the bathroom. This really doesn't have to be the case, even in a cheap hotel. I didn't book breakfast, so I can't rate it.

Booked on booking dogs allowed obviously he charged 10 euros for a two kg dog for cleaning it seems a bit too much nice room the bathroom would need to be renovated

I went to this country hotel for a Sunday brunch last year and was really impressed by the good buffet and the good selection and quality. The service was also okay. This year I wanted to go to brunch again, but: the homepage no longer works, the phone number is redirected to a person who obviously doesn't know much about the hotel business, if she answers at all. As a last resort, I booked a room for 1 night through Booking.com so that I could even contact the hotel. In the answer I was given to understand that they would rather pay me the voucher instead of telling me available dates. I don't know what I did wrong that people no longer want me as a customer.
