The two of us lived in the holiday apartment for a week (September 28th, 2024 - October 5th, 2024). Very spacious with a large kitchen. Huge terrace with a view of the city garden and a great view of the Brigachtal and Stockwald. Everything is in perfect order and clean. Bathroom a bit small due to sloping walls. It probably wasn't conceptually possible any other way. Lovely hotel owners who are easy to talk to and have fun with. Personal car transfer from the train station and back. The breakfast buffet left absolutely nothing to be desired thanks to the large selection. We got there by public transport. Connections worked well this week. We were, among others, in Triberg, Hornberg, Königsfeld, Villingen, Bad Dürrheim, Konstanz (Mainau Island), Freiburg and in the Wutach Gorge. Accommodation is highly recommended!

We had booked the Hotel Kammerer and were unable to travel due to illness. Despite a booking that cannot actually be canceled free of charge, our booking was canceled free of charge upon our request.Great customer service and we are looking forward to being able to catch up on our trip and then stay overnight at the Hotel Kammerer.Thanks again to the team!

We felt extremely comfortable here. The hotel owner is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a newly renovated and practically furnished bathroom with enough storage space. A comfortable, good bed and an incredibly rich, fantastic breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. We would like to come back!

Good hotel, only the lady at the reception was a bit annoying. I would have liked a little more restraint from her. I liked my room, unfortunately the WiFi doesn't work really well. The breakfast was lovingly prepared every day and the staff was very friendly. When booking, you should know that there is a bell tower nearby. All in all we can recommend the hotel.

Small town, everything is within walking distance. We had very nice conversations with the owners and other guests. New friendships have even been formed here. We felt very comfortable in St. Georgen. We will add this hotel to our favorites list and will definitely come back. Thank you for the great stay

I can only recommend the Hotel Kammerer! Not only was everything right here, expectations were even exceeded, because with three stars you expect a simple, solid standard - nothing more. The spacious rooms are functional, modern and at the same time cozy and tastefully furnished without excessive decoration. The bathroom is perfectly lit, has a spacious shower and enough counter space at the sink for all your toiletries. Perfect sound insulation and the back-friendly box spring bed ensure a heavenly sleep. But the absolute highlight of all the feel-good factors is breakfast! What's on the extensive buffet?Tasty and fresh food would truly be on par with a 5-star hotel! If you can then have a chat with the friendly operator of this family hotel, Mr. Will, it's a great start to the day!

Very nice room on the 3rd floor with a view of the “Stöcklewald” including a small balcony with seating. Good beds and pillows! Small drawback: Since there is no air conditioning, a pedestal fan would make the night even more pleasant for little money... the breakfast was really bombastic and is second to none, particularly diverse and creative!

As a solo traveler, my stay at the Hotel Kammerer in St. Georgen in the Black Forest was simply great. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the city while enjoying the tranquility of the Black Forest.My room was clean, bright and comfortable, and the small balcony offered a beautiful view of the surrounding forests.The weekend breakfast buffet was actually, completely unexpectedly, one of my culinary highlights of this year, and I go to hotels and restaurants a lot.It's really unbelievable how creative and outstanding the cooking is in this hotel.Overall, I can only warmly recommend the Hotel Kammerer. It offers excellent value for money and I look forward to my next visit.

At 6:40 a.m. I go into the open, covered breakfast room, sit down and cut myself a roll - when a choleric person jumps out at me - without saying "good morning" or anything else that a normal person would expect... "Whatever falls to them... that's an outrage... what are you doing here... everyone's been crazy since Corona... and blah blah..." Unimaginable - I had the good man (who couldn't be calmed down - even after I told him that I had booked breakfast), then said that he was a disgrace to his guild of innkeepers, that they would know how to behave in the other hotel in town and I moved out... While I was paying, he had continued to make a clown of himself in his embarrassing verbal rage... I've been a business traveler for 26 years with countless overnight stays... that was the dregs. At least he gave me 8.00 EUR for breakfast ;) Great show...

We were guests for a week for the second time and felt really comfortable again. The comfort room with balcony was cozy, very well maintained and spacious. The bathroom with shower was sufficiently large with plenty of storage space and very, very clean. The breakfast buffet: “without words”. Very appetizingly prepared with care. From fruit to yoghurt, eggs, sausage, cheese, small special snacks, jam, rolls, bread, toast, coffee/tea, everything is there as desired. That's hard to top. The guest is the focus here. We'd love to come back.

We, five couples who were friends, stayed at the Hotel Kammerer as part of a short weekend trip and were very satisfied. Now you can't say much after one night, but what we noticed were the very nice operators and their staff. The breakfast was excellent, we were all able to sit at one table. The rooms were clean and big enough, the beds were great with a choice of two pillows. In the evening we went to a very good Italian restaurant that was directly opposite the hotel.
